"William King, tell , what can I do to get famous fast?"
Jillian Carter skillfully swiped her finger on the tablet computer, adorned with bright red nail polish, closely examining all the hot topics on Twitter that afternoon.
"Partner with a famous lyricist and composer, then you sing the song. With a little bit of promotion, and having the unique advantage of two family mbers, skyrocketing to fa with a single song within a short ti is totally feasible. Nowadays, many singers gain popularity just from one song," William King responded.
William King was currently acting as Jillian Carter’s agent, entirely because of her brother Jas Carter and her mother Gwendolyn Young.
William’s plan was promising, not requiring him to actively seek out anyone. All he needed was for Jillian’s brother, Jas Carter, to tailor a song for her. Along with her connections through Jillian and Gwendolyn, and a bit of money spent on publicity, Jillian could easily beco famous.
"Once you have a song as your work, then participate in so variety shows. The ability of variety shows to attract followers is quite alarming," William King observed, noticing that Jillian was viewing posts about the artist Jane Sampson. "Take Jane Sampson, for example. After she appeared on ’I’m Not a Celebrity,’ her popularity soared rapidly. That’s one of the benefits variety shows can offer."
"I can’t sing," Jillian said coldly, bringing up the matter. "My brother inherited my mom’s talent, but I didn’t."
In fact, it wasn’t just a lack of inheritance; Jillian could be described as musically clueless. She had poor rhythm sense from a young age. After spending one month learning music, Gwendolyn gave up on her and let Jillian pursue other interests of her choice.
"Arrange for to join a variety show as soon as possible. I’ll go straight into reality TV," Jillian demanded.
"No," William King firmly shook his head, rejecting the idea. "If you want long-term success, joining a variety show without any works will easily get you labeled as a vase—a pretty but talentless artist. What’s most important for an artist isn’t just participating in various shows, but having credible works to show."
Hearing Jillian admit she couldn’t sing, William King’s eyebrows imperceptibly twitched. He suggested another debut route for her, "Then act. I had so usable connections in the circle from earlier. If you think it’s feasible, you could take up acting instead, but rember, acting is much harder than singing."
However, William hadn’t anticipated that Jillian would dismiss his suggestion without a thought.
"No, acting takes too long," Jillian, who had run out of patience, slamd the tablet face down on the table, "Filming takes several months and then post-production takes several more. At the fastest, it would take half a year to appear on screen. I don’t have the patience to wait that long. I want quick results."
Saying this, Jillian scoffed scornfully at William King. "Besides, the roles your connections could get , do they involve being the female lead? If not, don’t bother ntioning it."
Jillian could allow herself to be montarily overshadowed, but not for an extended period.
William King’s face darkened abruptly, having seen rude people before, but never soone as blatantly rude as this.
