"Fine, I know," Jillian Carter’s tone was clearly filled with impatience. "Oh, and do another thing for . Get all of Jane Sampson’s information, I want everything, detailed, don’t miss anything."
William King’s face could be described as particularly unsightly. "Fine, consider this a favor for your brother’s sake; this will be the last one I help you with. I will talk to him about the agent position and advise him to find soone else. I suppose you wouldn’t appreciate an agent who can’t provide you the script for a female lead."
Having said that, William King turned around and left without hesitation, leaving no room for Jillian to change his mind.
Of course, Jillian was not soone who would back down easily.
After William got back in the car, he thought about it and decided to call Jas Carter directly. He had co here only because of Jas Carter, his friend of many years.
Jas Carter’s studio was not located in Capital Province, so he had not arrived in Capital Province yet.
When the call connected, William didn’t waste words but straightforwardly said, "I can’t be Jillian Carter’s agent. I can see she’s just trifling with it, a fleeting enthusiasm. I just t with her, gave her lots of advice, but she rejected all of it. And Jillian—she isn’t one to take others’ advice easily, she’s very opinionated."
William was sowhat euphemistic in his description, using only "very opinionated" to hint at Jillian’s disregard for others.
Jas Carter paused for a mont when he heard his friend’s words. Knowing William King for so many years, Jas was well aware of his temperant and capabilities.
After leaving his old boss, William hadn’t rushed to find a new one but had been observing instead. When Jillian said she wanted to join the circle, Jas naturally thought of William.
"What did she say?" Jas thought for a mont before asking William.
Jas could have waited to ask Jillian himself after hanging up, but thinking about his sister’s temperant, he decided to ask William first.
"She’s like a little miss, only seeing the imdiate fa and not thinking about how to proceed stably in the future. I provided all my advice, but she dismissed it all. She was quite pleased with the last idea of becoming a live streaming internet celebrity though. But Jas, even though you and I are good friends, I, William King, cannot consider being an agent for an influencer. So, I’ve made it clear to Jillian," said William.
"Jillian can’t sing, has no interest in acting, and can’t cook, so I suggested she try live streaming in a luxurious style, which she agreed to. The rest, you siblings can discuss amongst yourselves."
Hearing the term "live streaming internet celebrity" and that it would be in a luxurious style made Jas frown deeply, his expression growing even darker.
But that had nothing to do with William; he had made a suggestion and it was Jillian’s choice, so Jas couldn’t project his displeasure onto William.
"So, do you have any other plans later? If there’s any way I can help, just let know," Jas politely asked.
"I was observing Jane Joy before coming to Capital Province. Jane Joy recently signed a few artists who seem quite talented. I’m keeping an eye on it, and if things go smoothly, I’m planning to join Jane Joy," William plainly laid out his plans. "I heard you have a good relationship with Jane Sampson. Maybe later, I might actually need you to help facilitate a connection."
