She was both delighted and embarrassed. After a silent chuckle or two, she threw herself into Jas Black’s arms and buried her face in his chest, from which she let out a giggle.
One hand holding the perfu and the other around Jas Black’s waist, she laughed so hard that her whole body shook.
"Do you like it?" Jas Black bent down and kissed the top of her head, clearly asking what he already knew.
The response he got was a silly giggle, but from it, Jas Black found his answer.
She liked it.
She liked the gift he gave her, she liked the giver, and she liked the aning behind the gift.
"Go get washed up, I’ll wait for you downstairs for breakfast." Jas Black patted Jane Sampson on the back of her head. "Don’t dawdle, or breakfast will get cold."
"Uh-huh~" Jane Sampson nodded, placed the perfu on the dressing table with a little trot, then ran back and gave Jas Black a peck on his cheek on tiptoes before giggle-running into the bathroom.
Jas Black stood there, lightly chuckling and curving the corner of his mouth before heading downstairs with his hands in his pockets, in a good mood.
Old Master Black and Aunt Black, the couple, were already having breakfast at the dinner table. There were no little children in the house, so the old morning routine rules were no longer necessary.
Seeing Jas Black co down alone, Uncle Black casually asked, "Did you call Jane down for breakfast?"
"She’ll be down in a while, you guys go ahead, I’ll wait for her." Jas Black replied, then went to the kitchen to serve Jane Sampson a bowl of millet porridge to cool on the table — Jane was afraid of burns, so letting it cool down was just right for her when she ca downstairs.
About ten minutes later, Jane Sampson ca downstairs, full of vigor, even hopping and humming a tune as she went down the stairs. Aunt Black heard the sound and couldn’t help but smile. "Little Jane seems to be in a particularly good mood today."
As Jane Sampson approached, Aunt Black smiled even more until her eyes were nearly invisible. "You’re in such a good mood that you even sprayed so perfu — it slls nice, very suitable for you. I’ve never slled this perfu before, did you buy it recently?"
"He gave it to ." Jane Sampson pointed her finger towards Jas Black and then sat down next to him with a grin.
"Oh, I didn’t expect that, Jas Black’s getting more and more skillful at pampering his wife," exclaid Uncle Black in surprise at Jas Black.
Aunt Black nodded and teased her husband, "Learn a thing or two from Jas Black."
From the mont Jane Sampson sat down, Jas Black’s gaze never left her. If it weren’t for the three seniors sitting next to them, he would want to hold her in his arms and kiss her now.
The faint scent of perfu coming from her was more seductive than anything else.
"By the way, after eating, I have to stop by the studio." Jane Sampson lowered her head and took a sip of the porridge, neither too hot nor too cold, just the perfect temperature.
"I’ll go with you." Jas Black quickly followed, "After we’re done, let’s visit the pet hospital to see the Great General’s family."
"It’s almost Chinese New Year, no matter how busy we are on usual days, we should always clear so ti during the New Year," Aunt Black ntioned, "Jas Black might not be able to co back for Chinese New Year this year, right? Jane, if you’re free during the New Year, go to the guard team base and accompany him. Otherwise, it’s too pitiful for him to be alone at the guard team base."
"It depends on his behavior," Jane Sampson provocatively glanced at Jas Black, "If he annoys in the anti, then I won’t go. The more miserable he is when I’m not happy, the happier I’ll be."
Old Master Black imdiately burst into laughter and even praised Jane Sampson with a, "You’ve got spirit!"
Jas Black didn’t say a word, only handed Jane Sampson a whole egg yolk, and seeing her happily accept it, he then quietly ate the egg white.
