After retracting her gaze, Jane Sampson continued chatting with Fiery Fanny on WhatsApp private ssages about the book "The President Who Doesn’t Hurt People Isn’t Human", which had been announced earlier on twitter for a TV series adaptation, and Fiery Fanny had also shared that she would personally take on the screenwriting role.
Nowadays, as the two interacted on twitter, many fans speculated that Jane Sampson might be involved in the acting of this book.
Surprisingly, when fans of the book guessed that Jane Sampson might be playing the female lead, they were mostly optimistic and left supportive comnts, expressing their anticipation.
Despite being a newcor who hasn’t been in the industry for long, Jane’s work in TV shows and movies had slowly begun gaining traction on TV screens. Although she’s been taking on supporting roles, her acting skills and attractiveness have won unanimous approval from the book’s fans.
This ti, Jas Black had a longer vacation period. After returning ho, Jane Sampson went to the kitchen to help Aunt reheat the leftover rice and dishes for their dinner, marking a simple evening al for her and Jas.
After all, there was a traffic jam on the road, and they didn’t get ho until past nine o’clock.
After eating, Jas Black drove out alone for an errand, where he went and what he did, Jane casually asked, but he didn’t respond, so she didn’t continue to inquire.
With Jas not at ho, Jane spent the evening reading novels on her mobile phone.
When it was 11 o’clock and ti for bed, and Jas hadn’t returned yet, Jane decided to give him a call.
The phone buzzed a few tis before Jas picked up.
The environnt on the other end was very quiet, and after listening for two seconds, Jane asked, "Are you coming ho tonight?"
"I’ll be back, but it’ll be a while. There’s still so things to handle here, it’s getting late, don’t wait up for , go to sleep first," Jas’s calm voice ca from the mobile phone.
"I wasn’t waiting anyway," Jane muttered under her breath, then humd an acknowledgent and promptly hung up the phone.
At the hospital, Jas heard the buzzing sound on the phone and his expression imperceptibly shifted, and a term sprang to his mind.
Unruly.
Suddenly, Peter Gingery popped out from the corner, grinning cheekily at Jas, "Little Jane gave you a call, huh? Wow, that’s rare. Saw you weren’t ho late and urged you to co back?"
"Yep," Jas admitted without a change in expression.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk," Peter Gingery continued reflectively, "People change so quickly."
Peter still rembered Jane’s old Monts updates; whenever Jas was due ho, her Monts would feature posts of sighing and crying.
Back then, Jane didn’t have a high regard for Jas, but now, she would even take the initiative to call him if he was a bit late. How strange.
"Brother, the doctor said that since Jasmine Troop woke up, it’s like pulling her back from the ghost gate," Peter patted Jas on the shoulder, "Honestly, this ti it was Jasmine Troop who overexerted herself by not following the plan. Her severe injuries were expected. This incident has nothing to do with you, bro. You shouldn’t have to put so much pressure on yourself."
Peter said, "Just because the Troop Family is unreasonable, you lead the mission and suddenly you have to take all the bla? It was Jasmine Troop who disrupted the plan from the start, almost causing the mission to completely fail. And still, the Troop Family has the audacity to bla you. Honestly, their faces are even bigger than the earth. Even if Jasmine Troop woke up, she can’t escape responsibility."
