Jane Sampson’s happiness did not last long. When she changed out of her formal dress and casually rummaged through her wardrobe, the smile on her face gradually faded and then disappeared.
The pink formal dress she had hung back in place before going out was gone, and so were a red one and a sapphire blue one. Not to ntion, several of her usual clothes had also disappeared.
Worst of all, every single one of her hot pants was missing.
If one item was missing, Jane Sampson might have needed to think about it, even suspecting that she had stuffed it in so corner and forgotten about it.
But that so many were gone, there was no doubt, soone definitely cleaned them out.
After coming out of the cloakroom, Jane Sampson, fuming, went to the living room to find Jas Black sitting on the sofa.
She stood in front of Jas, stamping her foot angrily, "Did you take the clothes from my wardrobe? Three formal dresses, and many other clothes."
Jas lightly shook the newspaper in his hands and admitted without even lifting his eyelids, "Yeah, I took them out when I went to pick you up and threw them into the garbage dump downstairs."
Although she guessed it was Jas who did it, hearing him admit it so calmly still made Jane Sampson so angry she was gnashing her teeth.
"Jas Black, you turtle!" Jane Sampson kicked towards Jas’s legs, shouting, "You turtle egg! Turtle egg!"
Jas didn’t dodge, letting Jane kick him to vent, but he put the newspaper aside and, after she had kicked a few tis, extended his hand to pull the puff-cheeked Jane into his arms, making her sit on his lap.
He looked down at the person in his arms from his higher position and playfully poked her face with his hand, she looked a bit like a pufferfish when angry.
"Didn’t you just say you would be obedient?" Jas’s voice was unconsciously gentle, "Hmm? You just finished saying it, and in the blink of an eye, you’ve forgotten."
Jane Sampson looked up at Jas with big eyes, blinking, her gaze filled with grievance, her face not pleased.
"You’re pretty, and it’s enough for to know that." Jas patted Jane Sampson’s head, "Don’t you know, I get jealous."
With one sentence, the bristled little cat was smoothed down.
Jane Sampson held it in for a few seconds but couldn’t help herself, and in a rather embarrassed manner, burst out laughing halfway through being angry.
"Are you from the 60s?" Jane Sampson looked at Jas with disdain.
No matter, he can lose them; she can buy more.
Jane Sampson got up from Jas’s arms, "I’m going to take a bath." After saying that, she hopped back to the bedroom.
Watching Jane Sampson’s back, Jas curved the corner of his mouth slightly, "So easy to appease."
He thought he would have to take out another gift to mollify her, but unexpectedly, after just one sentence, she couldn’t hold back her laughter first.
Jas thought, how could there be a girl as adorable as Jane Sampson in this world?
