"The sky has flipped, flipped!" Old Master Black grabbed the morning paper beside him and threw it towards Jas, "I do want to see how you’re going to protect her!"
"I have my own ways and abilities, but I still hope you won’t interfere with Jane’s matters," Jas said and nodded to Brooke, "Auntie, I’m heading back now."
Without waiting for Brooke to say anything, Jas left in a hurry, as swift in his departure as he was on arrival, his strides as if he was flying.
"Dad, what kind of act are you putting on now?" Brooke looked baffled, wasn’t the person just now delighted while looking at the photos of Jane Sampson on the pad the sa person standing before her?
How co he turned his face against Jas?
"Dad, if you really oppose Jane being an actor, shall I go and talk to her? That child has always been very obedient, I don’t know what happened, this ti causing such a big scene, don’t intervene too drastically in the two children’s affairs for now, let’s talk again if it really cos to an impasse," Brooke really feared that Old Master Black’s stern thods could make the situation difficult to resolve.
It was obvious that Jas was going to stand by his wife Jane, and if Old Sir tried to do anything under these circumstances, it would only lead to Jas and Old Sir growing apart.
"What’s it to you?" Old Master Black raised his eyelid, then took out his mobile phone again to admire it, then let out a scoff with a cold laugh, "This director, I don’t know where his eyes are – our Jane is so beautiful, yet he puts her so far behind. Jane is so pretty; she can play the female lead, yet they gave her a minor role."
Okay, after listening to Old Master Black’s grumblings, Brooke was even more baffled, "Dad, what exactly are you...?"
Angry or not angry?
If he wasn’t angry, why did he throw stuff and bang on the table at Jas just now, and if he was angry, why does he now seem proud as he speaks? "You think I really can’t stand Jane being an actor? You really think I’m that kind of old fossil?" Old Master Black shook his head, "I knew before any of you that little lass Jane was going to start filming, her agent is Nina Rice’s cousin, Rock Bell. I knew since the last ti Jane ca back ho, it’s just you lot who were foolishly kept in the dark, when the girl ntioned art-related work, you all thought it was about playing the piano."
After saying that, Old Master Black laughed with self-satisfaction, "I’m old, but my heart isn’t, and my eyes, they’re sharp. You kids need several more decades of practice if you want to scam Old Sir here."
"So you don’t oppose Jane being an actor?" asked Brooke, holding her forehead. It turned out that in this house, the first to know was Old Sir, and she had been trying to hide it from him when she saw the news this morning.
