Jas Black stared at Jane Sampson’s hand for a long ti, then at her smiling face for a long ti, holding back before finally not pushing her away.
His clothes have already gotten quite greasy because of her unaware fiddling.
If one has to say what has been Jane Sampson’s unchanged hobby from childhood to now, it has to be watching animated films and reading comics. Among the animated films, Tom and Jerry is her favorite, and when it cos to comics, Jane is more universal in her affections.
As long as the male lead in the comic is drawn particularly handso, she likes it.
Regarding this, Jas Black could tell from Jane Sampson’s bookshelf that she is a person who judges by appearances.
Or to put it in trendy terms, she is a sucker for good looks.
"Jas Black, why don’t we also get a cat?" Jane Sampson suddenly got a whimsical idea and nudged Jas Black with her shoulder who was intently tearing the beef into shreds and said, "My grandfather’s cat is called Majestic General, how about we na our cat Pri Minister?"
"Not that great," Jas Black said, and then pausing as if sothing crossed his mind, he added, "Don’t even think about it."
"Why?" Jane Sampson pouted, a bit unhappy, said, "Am I not your treasure anymore?"
"..." Jas Black’s eyebrows twitched slightly when he heard Jane Sampson bring up that term herself, "A person who hasn’t called ’husband’ since sobering up from that day, what right do they have to be a treasure?"
What?
Jane Sampson blinked her eyes in confusion as she looked at Jas Black, wondering why there seed to be such resentnt in his words?
No, that’s not right, she must have misunderstood sothing.
Jas Black is such a serious person that he would definitely not harbor such resentnt. She thought that after she sobered up and regained her senses, he should be happy, more likely.
"I don’t care, I want to raise a cat." Jane Sampson muttered to herself. If she had known Jas Black would disagree, she should have acted first and reported later.
Hehe.
A cat?
Jas Black thought of the harmonious scene where Jane Sampson played with the Great General at the Black Residence as if the whole world had only the two of them, a girl and a dog. He would not allow for a cat to be added to this scene, with the background changing from the courtyard of the Black Residence to the inside of the house.
There is already a Great General at the Black Residence — no, now it’s a trio: the Great General’s family attracting Jane Sampson’s attention.
How could he possibly add to his own troubles at ho?
"In your dreams," Jas Black said in a light tone, releasing three words upon seeing Jane Sampson’s eyes whirl, clearly concocting so sly plan. He then added, "You are busy with work, and I am permanently with the guard team. If you raise it, who will take care of it? Send it to the pet garden every day? It’s better not to keep a pet if you don’t accompany it."
Jane Sampson scratched her head; she couldn’t refute that reasoning.
"You have a point." Jane Sampson was actually persuaded by Jas Black.
"Watch less of such animated films in the future." As he spoke, Jas Black turned off the TV, thinking to himself that he’d better do so to prevent her from wanting to raise a cat today and a mouse tomorrow.
"Don’t turn it off~" Jane Sampson’s voice was soft and coquettish, "Isn’t passing ti quickly by working while watching sothing enjoyable?"
"Ti also flies when chatting and watching." Jas Black pulled the basin a bit closer to himself and then asked, "Oh My Mum, when does that show air?"
"Next Thursday evening." Jane Sampson chuckled when she ntioned the show, "Last night, those little ones were video chatting with in the group. When I left back then, those little devils cried so miserably. Their mother said even after my car was out of sight, the kids cried for a long ti. Looking at them now, I think these children are all so adorable."
