Peter Gingery was dumbfounded by Jane Sampson’s shout.
In his mind, he smirked, thinking now she dares to shout so loudly, she better not expect him to save her later.
After shouting at Peter Gingery, Jane Sampson sluggishly went to brush her teeth, and standing in front of the mirror, she turned her head and saw the red marks on her neck and touched them with her hand.
Jas Black must be part-wolf, part-dog, right?
She twirled in front of the mirror and, after washing up, she rummaged through the wardrobe to put on a scarf.
With the New Year cos a new look, and Jane Sampson was dressed head to toe in brand new clothes, which put her in a very good mood.
When Peter Gingery saw Jane Sampson again, he glanced at her scarf and teased, "You’re dressed festively enough for the year, but do you really need to wear a scarf indoors?"
"What’s it to you?" Jane Sampson shot Peter Gingery a look, and seeing Jas Black busy in the kitchen, she casually asked, "Why did you co so early in the morning? Didn’t you go back to the Black Residence to celebrate the New Year last night?"
"Didn’t go back. I gave the teammates who live far away and haven’t been ho for many years the New Year’s vacation first. Our house is in the Capital Province, it’s very convenient to go back anyti," Peter Gingery shook his head, "I ca to pick up so stuff for my brother and decided to stay here for the fun of it."
Peter Gingery stood up and made a asuring gesture above Jane Sampson’s head, "Another year has passed and you didn’t get any taller, still a little shorty."
Jane Sampson was so provoked by Peter Gingery she wanted to hit soone.
Just as she was about to retort, Peter Gingery annoyingly said, "Oh, right, sorry, I forgot, you’ve aged, you’re almost an old woman in her thirties, of course, you won’t grow taller, just wrinkles and crow’s feet."
Jane Sampson, fuming, flung her slippers at Peter Gingery and stood stamping her foot, shouting towards Jas Black in the kitchen, "Jas Black, I am going to kick Peter Gingery out, do you have an objection?"
Jas Black in the kitchen agreed amiably, "Whatever makes you happy."
Jane Sampson didn’t hesitate to start pushing Peter Gingery towards the doorway.
Peter Gingery clung to the sofa, refusing to let go, and whispered to Jane Sampson, "If you kick out now, you will regret it. You’re in for big trouble and you don’t even know it? Don’t you think you should reflect on the horrible things you’ve done to my brother?"
"What did I do?" Jane Sampson beca anxious from Peter Gingery’s words, "I’ve just woken up, what could I have possibly done? Stop scaring people with your nonsense!"
"Even when you’re sleeping you could cause trouble, don’t you know?" Peter Gingery grinned wickedly, baring his teeth.
"I could cause trouble while I sleep? What kind of trouble? If anything, that guy would be the one causing trouble, okay?" Jane Sampson stretched out her hand to pry Peter Gingery’s fingers loose, insisting on driving him out.
"No, no, no! I’m still a pure young man, don’t talk to about things with any sort of implications, I tell you, I don’t understand," Peter Gingery struggled desperately, while Jane Sampson caught his left hand, then his right, and kept switching as necessary.
It wasn’t until Jane Sampson had pushed him several steps back that Peter Gingery played his trump card, "Jane Sampson, I’m telling you, my brother already knows about those things on Twitter from this morning, you just swagger around, pushing out the one who can save you, you’ll be crying later."
Jane Sampson stumbled and plopped down onto the sofa.
Stunned.
"The hot topic from Twitter last night that encouraged to get together with Mr. Carter?" Jane Sampson held her forehead, "That was one night ago, hasn’t the topic been suppressed yet?"
