"Granny, I’ve grown up, I don’t need red envelopes anymore." Jane Sampson’s voice was gentle, afraid that speaking louder might make her seem too eager and upset the elderly on the phone.
"Granny." Jane Sampson quickly added, "After my show ended last night, Jas Black and I ca to the guard team. He specially went to the scene to watch my performance yesterday, and brought back to the guard team after the show. I’m going to spend the New Year with him this year."
Granny Sampton’s heart, originally a bit saddened, lit up with joy upon hearing Jane Sampson say she would spend New Year with Jas Black at the guard team. "Since you’re spending New Year with Jas Black at the guard team, then it’s fine, you can always co back ho; accompanying Jas is important." Granny Sampton said cheerfully, "You two have been married for many years now, is this the first ti you’re spending New Year together with Jas? He’s busy, and you’re free, just take good care of him, between husband and wife, it’s important to support each other."
Granny Sampton was genuinely happy, "Since he personally went to pick you up, it shows that he cares about you too. But if he bullies you and makes you angry, you can tell your grandparents anyti. If you can’t beat him, your grandpa and I will help you beat him up."
"Alright then." Jane Sampson agreed straight away, "Then you can’t go easy on your grandson-in-law when the ti cos."
Following that, Jane Sampson couldn’t help but add another word, "Granny, happy New Year to you and grandpa, I wish you both long lives full of happiness every day. I’m going to enter the filming set after the year, and I’ll make ti to visit you before I go."
"Alrighty." Granny Sampton cheerfully agreed, "When you want to co, just tell in advance, and I will make you so delicious food. If you don’t like coming back here, then we’ll go to the countryside. Your grandpa and I will head back to the countryside early to wait for you."
The countryside is good.
Jane Sampson truly did not want to face the close-knit trio of the Sampton family.
Knowing that Granny missed her, Jane Sampson held her mobile phone and talked to Granny Sampton for about ten minutes. It was only when she heard soone calling Granny Sampton on the other end, as it seed guests had arrived at the Sampton family’s place, that Jane Sampson ended the call with Granny Sampton.
Peter Gingery had been sitting next to her waiting for a while. After she finished the call, he urged her, "Hurry up and get ready for a round, otherwise, when Brother cleans up and sees you stuffed, he’s definitely going to insist on taking you out for a walk."
"Go for a walk? It’s minus ten or twenty degrees outside, it’s not autumn." Jane Sampson secretly pouted, "Not hitting yet, I still have one more important thing to do."
Jane Sampson, gleefully bouncing along, hopped into the kitchen. She hadn’t yet approached Jas Black, but her voice preceded her to his side.

Jas Black grunted, turning his head to look at Jane Sampson in confusion, "You already said that last night."
And made three wishes.
"Hmm~" Jane Sampson grinned, letting out a hum, then slowly stretched out her hand towards Jas Black and spit out a word, "Red envelope."
It was only after Granny Sampton ntioned it that she rembered the matter of New Year’s money.
"What?" Jas Black asked to confirm, thinking he might have heard wrong.
"New Year’s money, duh!" Jane Sampson stamped her foot, "Don’t tell you don’t have any!"
Jas Black was taken aback.
He really hadn’t prepared any.
He spent every New Year at the guard team, without younger or senior family mbers around; he couldn’t even rember the last ti he received New Year’s money, let alone the last ti he gave it out.
