"What’s so secretive that you need to talk privately?" Peter Gingery directly positioned himself between Oscar Wilson and Jane Sampson, making it clear he wasn’t allowing it.

You’ve been ditched," Oscar Wilson teased relentlessly, "Before, I thought you two were a pair, but it turns out you’re not, so why should you know when I and Goddess Sampton have a private chat?"
Having said that, Oscar Wilson swiftly changed direction and, taking Jane Sampson by the hand, ran away.
Not until they reached the courtyard did Oscar Wilson, looking quite smug, taunt Peter Gingery who was standing in front of the patio window with a piercing stare. After having his share of laughs, he suddenly asked, "Jane Sampson, how did you offend Jillian Carter before? I rember it wasn’t long ago, probably about three or four months back, I don’t recall exactly how long, but one day, Jillian Carter suddenly asked my dad to help investigate you."
"Bla it on my excessive beauty; all the won in the world are desperately jealous of ," Jane Sampson flicked her hair, her face full of helplessness.

Jane Sampson understood that Oscar Wilson’s father must be a subordinate, subaltern, or perhaps a confidant of Jillian Carter’s father.
"However, it is strange that after Jillian Carter’s thing about investigating you, it’s been quite so ti. They’re living well. What I an is, grandparents Carter are particularly strict with children, they are not as open-minded as my grandparents."
