Perhaps it’s because there were too many familiar faces at today’s gathering, or maybe it’s because everyone had already been interacting online for several years. So, even though it was the first eting for so, Jane Sampson didn’t feel any sense of distance at today’s event.
Putting aside Jane Sampson’s identity as an actor, and ignoring Kane Forest’s identity as the big star of Forest Clan Group, everyone behaved like good friends, addressing each other by their in-ga usernas rather than their real nas.
It was as if everyone was still in the ga, just that the internet platform had been traded for the reality platform.
Once all who were expected had arrived, Oscar Wilson, the most playful of the bunch, began discussing with everyone how to spend the day.
"We can have hotpot at noon and barbecue in the evening!" Hardly Nad raised a hand, "I used to work part-ti at a barbecue shop during university, so my barbecue skills are really amazing!"
"No," Peter Gingery suddenly pushed Jane Sampson forward, "I have no objections to having a barbecue in the evening, but are we not underestimating our gathering today with hotpot for lunch? This is our first offline real-life get-together; such an occasion deserves sothing grander, otherwise, it would be doing us all a disservice."
"You can say what you want, but why are pushing out here?" Jane Sampson stumbled before regaining her balance and kicked Peter Gingery with no restraint, causing him to grimace in pain.
"I think they’ve all forgotten about your existence as a great chef!" Peter Gingery nursed his lower leg, "With a chef like you here, having hotpot for lunch really is too modest for us."
"Oh right, Goddess Sampson is also a god of cooking!" Hardly Nad suddenly transford into starry-eyed admiration, looking at Jane Sampson with a face full of worship.
"Well..." Oscar Wilson glanced at Jane Sampson. Having grown up in that environnt, he knew all too well that stars weren’t always as they appeared on TV.
Oscar Wilson thought Jane Sampson was a girl raised in wealth and probably unlikely to really know how to cook.
At that ti, there were rumors on the internet that Jane Sampson had put in so effort during the filming of Oh My Mom to create the image of a beautiful culinary goddess.
Although the program crew and guests later clarified, Oscar Wilson still tended to believe that the rumors might be true.
Oscar Wilson rembered Jane Sampson doing live streaming; although she could make small cookies and spicy beef, it didn’t an she could cook als.
"Right! Little Jane, it’s been so long since I last tasted the als you’ve cooked!" Quincy Forest hugged Jane Sampson, "Could you please take on the role of head chef for us this noon, so I can feast to my heart’s content?"
"Exactly, exactly, but let’s get it straight first, little Jane will be in charge of cooking, but for other things, like washing and preparing vegetables, and washing dishes, leave those to us. We can’t let Jane do everything herself."
After all, preparing als for seven or eight people, if one were really to take on everything, would definitely not be easy. The most crucial point was, if Jane Sampson wore herself out, he would certainly receive a life-doubting lecture from his brother later on.
"I agree!" Nina Rice spoke up, "I really miss our house’s little Jane’s cooking."
