Jane Sampson bent down, and the little fellow made a "mwah" sound as he gave her a kiss on the face. Then, he stood there holding onto her, laughing foolishly.
Jas Black heard the sound, turned his head, and saw the little fellow hugging Jane and stealing kisses. Afterward, the child just stood there giggling like a little fool.
Jas took two steps back, reached out directly, grabbed the little fellow, and handed him back to Oliver Black, with a slightly displeased tone, "Keep an eye on your kid."
Oliver Black and his wife stood there shaking their heads repeatedly, "Peter Gingery says you’re a jealous old pine tree brewing vinegar, and I thought he was exaggerating. Turns out, that description isn’t even close!"
Jas’s face remained unchanged, as if he hadn’t heard at all. He reached out, grabbed Jane’s hand, leading her to the tea table, pressed her down into a seat, and started preparing to brew tea for her.
Jane glanced at Jas’s indifferent expression, and the corners of her lips involuntarily curved upward into a slight smile.
She quietly leaned closer to Jas and asked in a low voice, "You’re even jealous of little kids. Later, when we have our own child, will you dislike them too?"
Jas’s hand paused slightly while he was handling the tea leaves. After appearing to think seriously for a mont, he responded, "Other people’s kids and our own kids are different."
Jane scoffed clearly, showing disbelief.
Jas murmured in a deep voice, "Don’t believe ? Have one and you’ll see."
"Trying to trick into having a baby again." Jane touched the tip of her nose. "Your tricks are just too much, but reverse psychology doesn’t work on . I’m not that naïve."
After muttering this, Jane took out her mobile phone and opened WhatsApp.
She thought for a mont and sent a ssage to Rock Bell.
Sister Tin, has anyone recently contacted the studio looking for ? —— Jas Black’s wife.
Rock Bell replied in less than a minute.
Yes, after Lantern Festival, you can co to the studio to pick out so scripts. Your popularity is through the roof right now. Many film crews want you for acting gigs, and there are also plenty of variety shows and comrcial endorsents. Just yesterday, the inbox received a ton of emails, so of which I haven’t even finished reviewing yet. —— Rock Bell.
For the first half of this year, you’ve already locked in one TV series and one movie. I haven’t finalized other projects for you yet. After a few days, I’ll consolidate all the invitations and let you review them. Then you can pick a variety show and a few endorsents yourself. —— Rock Bell.
Jane wasn’t surprised about work-related matters because her Twitter was flooded with private ssages every day offering her gigs.
But what Jane wanted to ask wasn’t about that.

Jane clutched her mobile phone and let out a resigned "oh" before wilting for a few seconds. Then, she quickly pulled herself together.
Maybe she wasn’t working hard enough, wasn’t dazzling enough, and hadn’t reached high enough.
"By the way, Jane, there’s sothing I want to discuss with you." Harper Black walked over from behind and sat down across from Jane. "It’s work-related, but it’s public welfare and essentially unpaid."
"Uncle, go ahead," Jane adjusted her posture and asked, "What kind of public welfare?"
"The Public Security Departnt wants to invite you to be the new Anti-Drug Campaign Ambassador," Oliver Black chid in. "They directly approached and asked to check with you."
"That’s a great opportunity!" Elder Black praised her enthusiastically from a few steps away. "It’s not even that burdenso. Little Jane, you should think about it carefully."
"What’s there to consider? I’ll do it!" Jane didn’t even pause to think. "I’ll tell Sister Tin about this right away."
