"Co here," Jas Black called out to Jane Sampson, watching her skip over to him. Instinctively, he opened his arms. Sure enough, two seconds later, Jane leapt into his embrace, laughing playfully as she hugged him.
"Jas~." Jane stood on her tiptoes and kissed Jas Black on the lips, "Thank you. I just found out that the movie project was your idea from the start, and also learned that what happened on the internet today was your doing."
"Feeling happy now?" Jas hadn’t planned on specifically telling Jane, but he never intended to hide it either. She must have heard it from her auntie.
Seeing her little face full of smiles, Jas’s heart softened slightly. Her happiness was all that mattered.
"Very happy, very happy." Jane nodded earnestly, wrapping her arms around Jas Black’s waist and refusing to let go, "The kind of happy that makes you feel like you’re about to fly."
"That happy?" Jas raised an eyebrow, "Then where’s my thank-you gift?"
"What?" Jane was completely stunned, "Thank... thank-you gift?"
Seeing Jas’s expression, Jane was sure she hadn’t misheard.
"You..." Jane opened her mouth to speak, but Jas beat her to it.
"You’re very happy, giving a thank-you gift, isn’t it only right?" Jas asked matter-of-factly.
"You’ve... changed!" Jane was truly taken aback by Jas’s shalessness, left open-mouthed.
When did Jas Black have this kind of operation?
"A small gift with deep affection, give the card." Jas directly reached out to Jane, "Just use the card as my thank-you gift."
Jane blinked at Jas. So was it her cards that changed Jas, making him a brazen thank-you gift demander?
Whose fault is it?
Well, she wouldn’t take the bla for this. This guy was greedy to begin with! Celebrating every holiday was one thing, but he wouldn’t even let a chance for a card pass by.
"If you’re not prepared, you can write the count on my card." Jas ruffled Jane’s head, "Think it over before answering."
"What if I refuse?" Jane curiously asked.
"Then I’ll write the count myself, and it will count as your thank-you gift to ," Jas clicked his tongue, "If I’m writing it myself, the number will depend on my mood."
"..." Jane took a deep breath, "You win."
Well played, King Black!
"Here, take it!" Jane pulled out four rather roughly-made cards she had prepared in the study earlier and slapped them onto Jas Black’s chest, "A reward, a reward!"
Jas’ lips curled into a smile, holding Jane’s head with one hand while taking the cards with the other.
"Looks like you were preparing the cards in the study earlier?" Jas chuckled, seeming to have guessed right.
Hearing the girl in his arms hum in response, Jas glanced at the cards in his hand and spread them open to see there were four in total.
One Peace Card, one Kiss Card, one Hug Card, and another quite unique Universal Card.
"What does the Universal Card an?" Jas asked, "Does it an, according to the literal aning, anything goes?"
Jane instinctively nodded, but before she could say anything, she t Jas’s deep, unfathomable eyes and suddenly stopped.
Sothing felt off!
"Wait a minute!" Jane quickly reached out and took the Universal Card back. She glanced at Jas and then said, "Wait a minute! I’m going to modify it a bit!"
