Jas Black responded with an "Hmm" and asked no more. Considering her evening drama schedule didn’t seem that rushed, she might still be in his dormitory.
The phone wasn’t answered; she might be sleeping.
Jas Black quickly headed to the dormitory.
Key in hand, unlocking the door, and closing it was done in one go.
Seeing Jane Sampson’s shoes at the doorway splayed out just like her personality, one to the left and one to the right, Jas Black chuckled with a smile at the corner of his mouth. Bending over to arrange her shoes, he called towards the inside of the house, "Jane."
There was no one in the living room, and there was no sound from the kitchen either. The entire dormitory was quiet, making Jas Black think she was probably still asleep in the bedroom. After arranging the shoes, Jas Black carried the double-layer milk curd and walked towards the bedroom, carefully quiet to avoid waking the sleeping person, and even the sound of turning the door lock was gentle. Every action was done cautiously.
He knew she was exhausted from filming, so if she was asleep, he didn’t want to disturb her.
Opening the door and seeing the quilt bulging, Jas Black’s eyes showed a hint of amusent.
She was indeed asleep.
No wonder she didn’t hear the phone ringing, nor him calling her from the doorway.

Beside the plush doll was an envelope, and with a stoic expression, Jas Black reached out, picked it up, tore it open swiftly, and four cards fell out.

The remaining card had a few lines written in Jane Sampson’s neat handwriting.
