Jas Black knew Jane Sampson was coming back today, so after dinner, he calculated the ti and went to the airport to personally pick her up.
When the airplane landed, Jane Sampson was still a bit tired, but once off the airplane, she turned on her mobile phone and received a text ssage from Jas Black, knowing he was already waiting for her at the exit. Jane imdiately felt revitalized.
"Jas is already waiting at the doorway." Jane couldn’t help but quicken her pace a little, but then imdiately slowed down because she rembered she was with Jas Carter.
"Almost a month without seeing him, do you miss him?" Jas Carter teased Jane with a smile in his voice.
"Yeah, I really do," Jane admitted, nodding, and curiously asked, "Mr. Carter, when you were in a relationship before, and didn’t see your girlfriend for a month, did you miss her a lot?"
Jane was genuinely curious because it had been more than a year since she knew Jas Carter, and she hadn’t seen any other woman by his side.
It was as if Jas Carter’s love life had been blank for a long ti.
Jane vaguely knew that Jas Carter and Mandy Forest had been together before.
But now, Mandy Forest was mostly in a semi-retired state, as people in the circle said Mandy was planning to move behind the scenes.
Jas Carter was stunned for a few seconds by Jane’s question, then slowly nodded, "Yes."
Jane’s question suddenly made him think of his once passionate self.
At that ti, when he missed soone, he was also crazy enough to take an airplane four days out of a week.
He once missed soone so much that he wished he could keep her by his side, not letting her be too far from him.
But now, thinking back, these things seed so distant from him.
So distant, to an unreachable degree.
The airplane landing was very late, and at this ti, the airport exit wasn’t crowded. Jane imdiately spotted Jas Black standing there. His eyes were always following her figure, clearly already seeing her.
"Jas~" Seeing him, Jane could no longer hold back. She left Jas Carter and sprinted towards the exit where Jas Black was.
Jas stood there, smiling as he opened his arms wide waiting for her to dash into his embrace and then steadily held her.
"I’m back~"
The woman in his arms held him, her happy eyes curved into crescents, and her words "I’m back" lted into his heart.
"I ca back with Mr. Carter, tomorrow night, Mr. Carter and I will attend an event together." Jane nuzzled her head in Jas Black’s arms, "Did you wait long? The airplane was half an hour late~"
"No." Jas replied, reaching out to gently rub Jane’s head, "Didn’t you eat well? You look a bit thinner."
"I tried hard, but I still lost two pounds." Jane sighed, "I ate well every day, but when I just got there, I had a few days of adjusting to the water and soil, had so belly issues, and was always on dicine. I got better later, and that’s why I lost weight. After I finish filming this drama, I’ll rest for a month and surely gain it back."
Parting is sweet when reunited.
After a month apart, Jane Sampson didn’t want to let go of Jas Black at this mont, nor did she want to upset him.
Hearing him say she’s thinner, she had to carefully explain, afraid he wouldn’t be happy.
"Mm." Jas nodded, holding Jane in his arms, his eyes shifting to the approaching Jas Carter. He patted Jane’s shoulder before saying to Jas Carter, "Want to grab a late-night snack together before heading back?"
