It was at this mont that Jas Black truly understood how satisfying it could be to block soone, a flaw of Jane Sampson’s that she seed to rather enjoy.
Looking at that text ssage, Jas really felt like blocking Jane Sampson to save himself the constant irritation.
But when he actually picked up his mobile phone to do it, he couldn’t go through with it, because he knew all too well that if he did block Jane Sampson, she would likely never notice, not in a lifeti.
Forget it, in the end, he was the only one getting angry. He was a man, why should he bother with such trivial disputes with a woman? It wasn’t like this was the first ti Jane Sampson had irritated him.
Compared to the incident with his tea leaves, anyway...
Sowhat inexplicably, it seed this matter was what truly infuriated him!
"Reporting, Sir!"
Outside the door, Peter Gingery’s voice suddenly rang through, and Jas’s gaze swept over darkly. Peter’s brain went blank, leaving only the thought of "Holy cow."
Had he co at the wrong ti?
"Commander, Sir! I’ll co back later!" Peter said, then took off running, knowing that given Jas’s current mood, he was best left alone in his office.
Although Peter didn’t understand why Jas had been fine during training, and yet had turned into a scowling demon once back in the office.
"Hey, hey, hey! Peter! What’s the rush? Why are you running?" William King approached and grabbed Peter by the arm. "Didn’t you say you were going to ask the commander for leave? Did you get it?"
"Leave? My brother’s clearly in a foul mood! I’d rather stay on base this weekend than go courting misery at a ti like this." Peter stopped running, confident that Jas hadn’t chased after him.
Seeing that William seed to have sothing to discuss with Jas, Peter placed a hand on William’s shoulder, grinning slyly.
"Stop grinning like you’re in a horror movie, and get your hand off." William brushed off Peter’s hand irritably and then stealthily glanced in the direction of the office, asking, "The commander is in a particularly bad mood?"
Peter raised an eyebrow and humd in affirmation.
William twitched the corners of his mouth for a few seconds. Unlike Peter, who could notice sothing amiss and run, William had to face the music. "Commander, Sir!" William forcefully dragged Peter behind him before calling out and began, "There’s a girl at the team base gate who wants to see the Chief; she says her last na is Jane."
"Jane?"
Hiding behind William, Peter jumped out. "My sister-in-law is here?"
Before Jas could react, Peter had already darted off, shouting, "I’ll bring her in!"
In the office, Jas was montarily stunned. Jane?
Jane Sampson?
Hadn’t she said she was on a filming set outside the region? Didn’t she just send him a text ssage saying it would take her four to five months to finish her work there?
Was it possible she lied to make him angry on purpose?
Or was it that she said so deliberately to give him a surprise?
Jas stood up and imdiately strode out of the office, while William, watching his commander leave in silence, saw him start running toward the main gate entrance.
William couldn’t help but be amused. It seed the girl nad Jane at the gate really was the commander’s wife?
In the guard team, it was impossible to keep family visits a secret, and since everyone on the base was curious about Commander Black’s wife, it wasn’t long before a crowd had gathered at the gate entrance to see the excitent.
