"What happened? Is it serious?" Jas Black stood up from behind the table and asked concernedly.
His eyes moved slightly; it seed like he just heard Liam Woody ntion pregnancy or sothing about a child?
"Chief, can you expedite my marriage application? I’m eager to register, and once Alia Delight returns, I want to take her to the Civil Affairs Office and get the marriage certificate first."
The first thing Liam Woody did after coming to his senses was to hurry Jas Black.
"It’s in process." Jas Black nodded, Liam Woody’s marriage application was submitted half a month ago, barring any surprises, it should be approved in a few days.
"Alia’s pregnant, the child is two months along already, and in less than eight months, I’ll be a daddy." Liam Woody’s face was full of joy, "The child really ca unexpectedly, neither Alia nor I were prepared. Pregnancy is tiring for Alia. Jas Black chuckled.
"To celebrate your upcoming double happiness, how about a thirty-kiloter cross-country run with a thirty-kilo load to celebrate?" Jas Black said, "Once you’re done running, I’ll catch up with you in the dining hall."
After saying this, Jas Black turned and left the office.
Liam Woody stood there, slack-jawed.
Is this devilish way the Chief’s MO for celebration?
Liam Woody inexplicably felt that the Chief might be a bit jealous of him?
Even though the celebration thod was a bit unusual, Liam Woody was happily running out of Jas Black’s office, wind in his step, smile on his face, spreading the good news to his teammates.
Jas Black stood in the hallway outside the office, blowing in the wind to try to calm down.
But it didn’t help much.
He watched Liam Woody run off like the foolish son of a landlord, pulled out his mobile phone, and made a call to Jane Sampson.
The phone rang a few tis and Jane Sampson picked up.
From the sound of it, she was in the car on her way back to the film crew from the hospital.
"What’s up?" Jane Sampson answered the phone, laughing heartedly.
"Your best friend is pregnant, how do you feel about that?" Jas Black asked.
What kind of weird question is this?
Jane Sampson looked at the mobile phone screen puzzled for a second, why does her best friend being pregnant an she has to have any feelings?
"I’m happy for her." Jane Sampson replied.
