There are only six people in this group, not including Jillian Carter.
"In the family group, mom, dad, and grandparents an that after our movie premieres, we’ll hold a family banquet at the Carter ho and formally introduce you to relatives and friends before adding you to the group. There are quite a few young ones in the group, and they’re worried that if they add you now, your identity would be revealed prematurely, affecting our current movie."
Jas Carter was explaining why Jane Sampson hasn’t been added to the family group yet.
"Alright, I’ll listen to mom and dad." Jane Sampson smiled indifferently and waved her hand.
She knew that Jas Carter was saying all this because he was afraid she’d overthink it.
No matter what kind of mindset Jillian Carter had, knowing full well that Jane wasn’t in the family group, she still blatantly ntioned things about the family group to her. Since she knew and wasn’t in the group, Jas Carter was worried she’d overthink.
Jas Carter was busy and didn’t have much ti to talk with Jane Sampson, so he added Jane to the family group with Jillian Carter and Joseph Shaw and then left.
After Jas Carter went far away, Coco Edwards scooted back next to Jane Sampson, whispering in a knowing tone, "Did that weasel take the wrong dicine today? Actually apologizing so seriously?"
"I want to know too." Jane Sampson shrugged.
"I was standing next to you watching the way Jillian Carter spoke with you just now, and the way she waved goodbye to you and Mr. Carter with a smile when she left.
