When Jas Black pushed the door open, what he heard was a barrage of insults, calling soone an idiot, moron, or retard, and each person hurling the abuse was holding a mobile phone.
Jas Black looked up at the TV, and it just so happened at this ti that Julie Sampton was asking Jane Sampson if she had a boyfriend. Jane Sampson’s response was a bit quieter for a few seconds, as Jas Black leaned against the door panel at the doorway, waiting for the Jane Sampson on the TV to answer. He waited for Jane Sampson to tell everyone she was married.
They say the lens can make you look wider and fatter, but Jane Sampson on the screen looked just as beautiful as she did in real life. Although she was thin, her height made her every bit as imposing as any other honored guest.
As the lens stayed on Jane Sampson, Jas Black’s gaze didn’t flicker for even a second, and then, he heard Jane Sampson’s voice coming from the TV, carrying a faint smile.
He heard her say, "I don’t have a boyfriend."
After saying that, Jane Sampson’s smile beca even more beautiful than before her response.
Then, soone inside the room whistled, and the atmosphere instantly turned exuberant.
"Wow~ My goddess doesn’t have a boyfriend, yay!"
Peter Gingery nearly dropped his mobile phone on the ground. He turned to look at his teammates, who were wearing expressions full of romantic yearnings, the epito of being bursting with words but not knowing whether to speak them or not.
"Even if she doesn’t have a boyfriend, you still wouldn’t stand a chance," soone threw in a cool comnt, and Peter Gingery nodded vigorously in agreent, "Exactly."
After Peter Gingery finished nodding, he turned his head and, without aning to, glanced towards the doorway. Upon this glance, his mobile phone clattered onto his foot.
Oh my goodness! When did Jas Black appear at the doorway?
Didn’t he leave the guard team last night? How did he co back all of a sudden? And why was he silently standing at the door? How long had he been standing there?
Given his complexion, looking gloomy and ominous, he must have heard the part where Jane Sampson said she didn’t have a boyfriend, right?
Peter Gingery quickly picked up the mobile phone from the ground and ran towards the door. Then, he reached out and tugged at Jas Black, but found that it was like Jas Black’s feet had taken root at ground level – immovable. He then chuckled and said, "Brother, shall we step outside to talk?"
Jas Black gave Peter Gingery a look and then closed the door, allowing Peter Gingery to pull him out.
"Brother, Jane looks pretty good on cara, right?" This was Peter Gingery’s opening line, but after saying it, he suddenly realized that Jas Black’s gaze beca inexplicably colder.
Did he say sothing wrong just now?
"Brother, you saw that part with Jane just now, right? Don’t overthink it. Knowing Jane as I do, if Julie Sampton had asked her if she was married, she would definitely have honestly said she was. So, she wasn’t really deceiving the audience just now, right? After all, your relationship with her is husband and wife, not boyfriend and girlfriend."
Peter Gingery felt like just worrying about Jane Sampson was aging him prematurely by several years, and the worst part was that this mischievous girl usually loved to sass and bully him.
"That’s right, Brother, soone has been picking on Jane!" Seeing that Jas Black remained silent, Peter Gingery quickly changed the subject.
Our house?
Our house?
Hearing Peter Gingery repeatedly saying "our house," Jas Black’s eyebrows knotted and then unknotted. "She is your sister-in-law."
"Yes, yes, yes, my sister-in-law." The old family dignity suddenly ca back, as if one had to ticulously weigh even a term of address. It was just like when he was a kid calling his mother "Miss Black" or "Miss Brooke" and would get a beating from his grandfather.
