"Just be happy, you know Jas isn’t around. Once you eat too much, there’s no one to rub your belly. Let’s see if you’ll feel uncomfortable then." Rock Bell chuckled, "Really just like a foodie."
"More like a glutton cat," Coco Edwards chid in next to Jane Sampson, teasingly adding, "Or maybe a greedy monkey?"
The ntion of a greedy monkey instantly made everyone in the house burst into laughter.
The whole atmosphere in the house lightened up imdiately.
It was as if the previous apprehension had suddenly disappeared without a trace.
"It’s fine, eat all you want. If you eat too much, grandma will rub your belly." Granny Carter finally let Jane Sampson go. She was so pleased that the wrinkles on her face were very visible with her smile.
This was one of the few tis since Jas Carter’s accident that Granny Carter could smile so comfortably.
"Does that an I get to enjoy good food?" Coco Edwards laughed, "It’s really important to follow the right boss."
"Foodie, no wonder you and Jane get along so well." Rock Bell laughed while shaking his head, "Relying on you to keep an eye on Jane Sampson to stop her from eating, I might as well hope that Jane can control herself."
"Sister Tin, you don’t know how rciless Coco is. She eats potato chips, barbecue, and spicy hot pot in front of . Do you know how painful it is for to sll that? So I really had to control myself." Jane Sampson wailed.
Coco Edwards was just that rciless, and every ti she would beautifully na it as training Jane’s self-control.
If Jane didn’t punch Coco Edwards, she felt that her feelings for Coco were truly love.
The Carter Family didn’t seem to lack anything without Jillian Carter.
When it was ti to laugh, everyone laughed happily.
Old Sir Carter and Father Carter didn’t really join in Jane Sampson and the others’ bantering, but while listening, both of their faces had a smile and showed no sign of impatience.
Mother Carter and Granny Carter, however, could join the conversation. A group of people talking made Mother Carter and Granny Carter delighted.
Mother Carter thought that Jane Sampson was like a pistachio, always thoughtfully attending to everyone’s emotions. Perhaps this was due to the careful environnt she grew up in within the Sampson Family.
If Jane Sampson had grown up by her side, perhaps she would truly be as carefree as she appeared.

Joseph Shaw finally caught up with Jillian Carter after chasing for several minutes, despite her running out of the house without taking a car.
Jillian struggled fiercely, and when she ran across the road, she didn’t even look; she just dashed across, nearly getting hit by drivers who had to brake hard several tis.
Drivers behind her stopped their cars, rolled down their windows, and yelled at Jillian Carter, but she seed not to hear. Joseph Shaw, watching from behind, was terrified.
After catching up with Jillian Carter, Joseph Shaw dragged her straight into an empty taxi and headed directly ho.
Once they were inside the house, Jillian Carter was still wiping her tears, trying to shake off Joseph Shaw’s hand as she struggled.
Throughout the journey, Joseph Shaw didn’t say a word to Jillian Carter until they got ho and closed the door, when he finally released her.
"Jane Sampson must have done it on purpose! She must have done it on purpose!" Jillian Carter shouted irrationally, "She must have set up on purpose! Joseph, Jane Sampson must have set up on purpose!"
"Jillian!" Joseph Shaw grabbed Jillian’s wrist again, pressing her onto the sofa to sit down, speaking in a low voice, "Jillian, do you want to hear about Julie’s story?"
"I don’t want to hear it." Jillian Carter refused without thinking, "I have no interest in her at all!"
