Everyone is waiting anxiously.

It wasn’t until daybreak that Harper Black received a call from Sunny Black.
Over the phone, Sunny spoke in a low voice, "Got in touch with Jas Black. Jas confird he hasn’t been exposed. The Old Sir didn’t inform Jas about his wife’s incident for fear of affecting his mission."

If Jas hasn’t been exposed, then the people who kidnapped Jane Sampson are not related to Jas’ mission target. Telling Jas about Jane’s kidnapping at this ti might just affect his state.

After hanging up, Harper gave Brooke a reassuring look, "It’s not targeting Jas."

As long as it’s not targeting Jas, whether it’s a crazed fan or a kidnapper for money, at least Jane Sampson’s life won’t be in imdiate danger.
