The two elders still being alive would an the Sampton Family’s company wouldn’t collapse so quickly. After all, with the elders’ connections, they could always be of use. Take Jane Sampson, for instance. If both elders were still around, she wouldn’t have decisively severed all ties with the Sampton Family.
"It’s all fate." Peter Gingery sighed deeply, "If people don’t fall hard enough to bleed when they’re young, how would they ever know they were just a club before, right?"
Brooke Black glanced at her son, giving a forced smile, "You little brat, whose tone are you copying when you speak? Want a spanking?"
"Dad! Control your wife, she’s about to hit with dostic violence!" Peter Gingery quickly hopped away from Brooke’s hand.
"The slap’s not landing on , why should I care if she wants to engage in dostic violence? Anyway, my wife treats gently." Father Gingery cheerfully sat back, enjoying the show, with no intention of helping his biological son.
"???" Peter Gingery had a horrified expression, "I think you must have picked up from a trash can while you were out walking."
"Nonsense, do your mom and I look like the type who’d pick up trash from a can?" Father Gingery scolded, "Keep babbling, and I’ll have your mom hit you harder."
"Your dad’s right. You were dragged ho from the trash dump by the Great General." Brooke Black joined in the laughter this ti.
"I say you two should stop it; there are still a bunch of people sitting here, it’s nauseating." Harper Black said dismissively, rolling his eyes at his sister and brother-in-law.
He then continued, "If we get a court summons in a few days, Brooke, have the company’s Legal Departnt arrange a lawyer to play with that guy nad Sampson. I want to see if he’ll laugh or cry when he finds out Jane Sampson isn’t dead."
Peter Gingery patted the distressed face of Bright Sampton comfortingly, "Forget it, with a dad like that, it’s right not to acknowledge him. Don’t be sad, co, give your brother a smile."
"Get away." Bright Sampton awkwardly turned away. No matter what, it was still his biological father. Doing such things left Bright Sampton disheartened and deeply distressed.
Even though it’s been a long ti since Jane Sampson got into trouble, Father Sampton never called to check on her. That was one thing, but it turned out he was still secretly hung up on Jane Sampson’s money.
Bright Sampton was overwheld with sadness.
The father who loved him dearly as a child has now really beco unrecognizable.
The next day, as dawn broke, Brooke Black left the Black Family residence with Peter Gingery and Bright Sampton.
Their departure wasn’t exactly low-key, so so curious reporters caught the three at the airport, and soon enough, news spread online. Everyone knew that the Black Family mbers, along with Jane Sampson’s brother, were once again going to claim the remains to bring the real Jane Sampson ho.
Since there were no outsiders at the Black Family’s, Jane Sampson sat in the living room after breakfast to rest. The Great General’s family just lay quietly asleep at her feet, not making any noise.
Old Master Black, worried Jane might be bored, set up a chess ga and asked her to play with him. As a result, Jane was unpleasantly beaten by Old Master Black all morning.
"Grandfather, you’re so infuriating. I’m never playing chess with you again. I’ve decided to have Jas Black co play with you in the future." Jane Sampson’s temper flared after losing all morning, pouting with displeasure, yet still playfully whining, "You don’t even give a chance, I’ve lost for a whole morning."
