The corpses clearly showed signs of fractures and other such phenona. These criminals really have ruthless thods, treating human life as if it were nothing."
"Seventeen corpses, fourteen victims have been identified from missing persons cases, but the identities of the remaining three are still unclear." Brooke Black rubbed her forehead, "Seventeen victims, all female, all under thirty years old."
Brooke Black shuddered at the thought. If Jane Sampson hadn’t been lucky enough to et Jas Black, given ti, Jane Sampson would undoubtedly have beco the eighteenth victim in that garden.
It’s terrifying—a garden burying seventeen girls’ lives.
"By the way, Dad, how is Jas Black’s mission progressing? Is it going smoothly?" Brooke Black asked. "These people are extrely ruthless. Jas Black has to be extrely careful this ti."
No matter how capable Brooke Black is, she cannot probe into Jas Black’s progress, but Old Master Black can.
"Ever since Jane returned, I haven’t received any new ssages." Old Master Black calculated the ti, stood up, "I’ll make a call and inquire."
"Alright, I’ll arrange the drama to be perford by the Black Family tomorrow." Brooke Black stood up and called out to Jane Sampson, who had just co downstairs, "Is Bright Sampton still not awake?"
Jane Sampson had just co out of Bright Sampton’s room and shook her head with a helpless smile at Brooke Black, "It’s good for him to sleep a while longer, so his eyes won’t feel uncomfortable when he wakes up."
"I suspect Peter Gingery has a personal vendetta and that’s why he was so heavy-handed." Brooke Black laughed, "Have a good rest tonight. Tomorrow, your assistant and Sister Tin will be coming to the Black Residence; you can et them."
"That’s wonderful!" Jane Sampson exclaid joyfully, "These days, they’ve been working so hard."
"Tomorrow, there will be a morial service at the Black Residence for you. It won’t be a large gathering—only your close friends and so people the Black Family has to invite will co. Tomorrow, I’ll find an excuse to keep your friends; you can wait in my room. When the ti is convenient, I’ll call you down."
At tomorrow’s morial service, those who co may want to take a look in Jane Sampson’s room, especially her good friends.
Hence, tomorrow Jane Sampson will need to hide in Brooke Black’s room. Brooke Black’s room is not a place people enter easily, considering that those attending the morial service at the Black Residence are all people of status and quality.
"Tomorrow, you’re not actually going to place a dead body in the house, are you?" Peter Gingery asked, a little worried, as he erged from the restroom.
"Even if you agreed, we wouldn’t." Brooke Black laughed, "We’ll use a simulation human dressed in Jane Sampson’s clothes and shoes. The face will be covered with opaque cloth, and the coffin is made of frosted glass, only allowing a vague outline of a person’s silhouette to be seen. If anyone asks why the face is covered with cloth, just say the face was slashed with many wounds, and we don’t want to scare anyone."
"No problem." As long as they’re not actually placing a dead body in the house, Peter Gingery would agree to anything.
It’s not that he’s timid, but facing a completely unfamiliar corpse, especially in one’s own ho, would make anyone uncomfortable.
