Bright Sampton initially didn’t plan on letting Jane Sampson know he was house hunting, but as he was making a call in the room, Jane Sampson happened to push the door open and walk in.
He had casually closed the room door but didn’t lock it. Jane Sampson ca looking for Bright Sampson, saw the door ajar, and pushed it open without thinking much, only to hear Bright Sampson talking to an agent on the phone.
Before Bright Sampton had a falling out with Father Sampson, he was still young and didn’t have any property of his own. After Father Sampson and Mother Sampson got divorced, the property was divided, and after Mother Sampson got ready, Julie Sampton took her away. At that ti, Bright Sampson was always living at the base, and naturally, Mother Sampson didn’t have ti to think about buying a house for her son in the Capital Province, just after her divorce.
Jane Sampson walked over, reached out, and grabbed the mobile phone from Bright Sampson’s hand and hung up the call.
"Sister?" Bright Sampson was startled and felt guilty upon seeing Jane Sampson.
"Why didn’t you tell you were looking for a house?" Jane Sampson asked with a tone of questioning, "Don’t consider your sister anymore? You used to co to first whenever you had sothing going on."
"Renting is okay too." Bright Sampson scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed to look at Jane Sampson, "I just didn’t want to bother you at this ti."
"As for my younger brother, it’s never a bother, no matter the ti." Jane Sampson returned the mobile phone to Bright Sampson, "I have a two-bedroom house, about a hundred square ters, with one bedroom, a study, a fairly large living room, and a terrace with good lighting. I renovated it myself before marriage and never had the chance to live in it, so you can stay there first."
Jane Sampson patted Bright Sampson’s shoulder, "The key is at the Black Residence, I’ll get it for you later. There’s an aunt who cleans every week, you just need to bring your stuff and move in."

The rest of the houses Bright Sampson knew about were managed by agents, and Jane Sampson would only collect a rent paynt from the agents at the end of each year.
"I originally renovated it to keep for myself. Won tend to overthink before marriage." Jane Sampson grabbed a chair and sat beside Bright Sampson, "At that ti, while drinking coffee in a cafe, I overheard a woman complaining to her friend on the phone. She said during a fight with her husband, he told her to get lost because the house was bought by him, so she had no choice but to leave. After she left, she had nowhere to go. At that mont, I thought, that’s too miserable."
Hearing this, Bright Sampson didn’t know whether to sympathize with the overthinking Jane Sampson of that ti or to tease her a little.
"So, you secretly bought and renovated a house back then, just in case one day when you have a fight with your brother-in-law, he would tell you to get lost, and you would have a place to go?" Bright Sampson found it amusing, "You said that brother-in-law is such a reserved person, it’s super unlikely he would even fight with you!"
"He can be quite talkative and naggy when he’s not being reserved!" Jane Sampson quickly defended.
"Even then, he wouldn’t fight with you. At most, when he’s extrely annoyed, he would just slam the door and head back to the guard team himself." Bright Sampson was genuinely laughing at how much Jane Sampson overthought back then.
