Jane Sampson thought about it, nodded vigorously, and replied, "Yes!"
She paused for a mont and added aningfully, "If you all think I’m stingy in the future, it’s his influence too."
With one sentence, the crowd was laughing uproariously once again.
Jas Black raised his hand and tapped Jane Sampson’s forehead, scolding her, "Nonsense."
"I agree with Jane Sampson’s words. Your Jas Black is stingy; he doesn’t buy you any good food. Unlike Thomas Lancaster, he’ll buy whatever I like, milk tea or potato chips. Just one look, and he’s on it. So, Jane, you must never marry a man who’s too stingy with you." Yvette Quick looked at Jane Sampson with an expression of exaggerated sympathy.
"Sister Yvette Quick, are you a devil?" Jane Sampson was dumbstruck.

Quincy Forest and Peter Gingery were sitting next to them, rolling their eyes in unison.
"Aren’t you childish, Oscar Wilson? Rachel Miller, don’t mind him, just sit there, don’t move. Let’s see if Oscar Wilson can move you along with your fishing rod." Quincy Forest stood and hollered.
"Out of everyone here, I’m the youngest, so I have a right to be childish. What, are you jealous of my youth and beauty?" Oscar Wilson gleefully plopped himself down in the spot vacated by Rachel Miller, not even bothering to say thank you, afraid that his champion spot might be snatched away.
