An hour later, everyone went to the dining hall, and as soon as they sat down, the whole fish feast at noon was quickly served.
Stead, braised in soy sauce, deep-fried, boiled - everything was there.
Alexander Forest loves fish. As soon as he sat down, seeing the whole table full of dishes, he happily praised Oscar Wilson for organizing this group activity particularly well, making Oscar quite proud.
After lunch, everyone didn’t go fishing again, but chose to head to the leisure area.
Jane Sampson was pulled by Nina Rice and Quincy Forest to play mahjong, plus Coco Edwards, making just enough for a table.
A few males in another area were playing table tennis, matching the excitent of the girls playing mahjong.
Jas Black wasn’t interested in playing table tennis, so he didn’t join in. He watched for a while from the side but eventually shifted his attention to Jane Sampson.
However, from where he stood, he could only see the bobbing ponytail at the back of Jane Sampson’s head.
Still, hearing her incessantly laughing, one could guess that she had good luck with the cards today.
Jas Black turned his head to look at a few fruit trees outside bearing fruit, then lifted his foot to walk outside.
The entire mansion doesn’t allow private cars in; the mansion’s transportation should use electric shuttle cars, so the environnt and air quality are excellent.
It had only been a few days since it rained, and the fruits on the trees barely had any dust on them, looking very appealing from afar, in clusters and bunches.
"You keep playing, I’m going out for a cigarette." Rachel Miller noticed Jas Black went out, so she quietly said sothing to Oscar Wilson beside her and followed after him.
Oscar Wilson casually responded while holding a cue stick, and a few seconds passed before he realized it was Rachel Miller speaking to him just now.
When he turned his head, Rachel Miller was already gone.
"Already so sick, and still smoking?" Oscar Wilson muttered to himself, then lowered his head to continue playing.
Rachel Miller followed Jas Black outside.
Seeing Jas Black walking straight towards a few fruit trees, she followed him.
"Jas," Rachel Miller called out.
The person in front ca to his senses, glanced at her faintly, then indifferently turned back around, as if he hadn’t seen her, reaching out to pick the already reddened fruits on the tree.
"Can we talk?" Rachel Miller asked.
Since Jas Black and Jane Sampson arrived here, it’d been half a day, and she hadn’t spoken even a sentence to Jas Black.
Jas Black was ignoring her existence altogether, and because of Jas Black, Jane Sampson also kept avoiding her, without crossing gazes even once.
"What do you want to say?" Although Jas Black’s hand stopped moving, he still kept his head raised, looking at the fruits on the tree, seriously searching for the few largest and reddest ones on the entire tree.
Jane Sampson is picky about fruits, only eating the sweet ones.
