The Old Sir Carter kept holding Jane Sampson and Jas Black’s hands while speaking, "Jane, this little lass didn’t grow up in the Carter family and has suffered a lot. "You didn’t notice Jane Black standing in the far corner just now. You were standing by the Old Sir smiling like the Laughing Buddha, while she was standing there, looking just as ghastly as a ghoul."
As Oscar Wilson finished speaking, Rose Carter pulled over another girl from the sa family.
"Ghoul? That’s an insult to ghouls!" Rose Carter retorted in a hushed voice, "Her expression was more like she’d lost her parents or sothing, tsk tsk tsk."
Jane Sampson stopped her actions of eating, not knowing if she should laugh or scold these two people who seed to say increasingly poisonous things.
Seeing Jane Sampson staring at her, Rose Carter didn’t dodge or hide, directly saying, "Jane Black wasn’t like this when she was young. Back then, everyone would go find her to play.
