"What big event can you manage at this ti? Snoozing at ho?" Nina ridiculed Jane Sampson without holding back, "Did you doze off too long during lunch break and get a bit muddled?"
"Of course not, I’m out shopping now." Jane Sampson scoffed at Nina, "I live to do big things that you wouldn’t understand. Anyway, tell what’s up."
"The Black Family knows a lot of people, could you ask your auntie or Old Master Black if they know any reputable doctors at the hospital? I’ve sent you Sister Grace’s daughter’s case on WhatsApp, pass it to your auntie or the old sir and see if they can help find a specialist in the field. Once I’m free, I’ll personally go to the Blacks to express my gratitude."
Nina said, "I’m worried the old sir might still be resting at this hour, hence I didn’t dare to call the Black Residence."
As for Brooke Black’s personal phone number, Nina genuinely didn’t have it.
"Sure, I’ll ssage my grandfather right away, he’ll see it when he wakes up." Jane Sampson asked another question after finishing her sentence, "Whereabouts are you now?"
"With Sister Grace at her daughter’s hospital, looking after her daughter. The little lass is just three years old but incredibly sensible, very well-behaved." Nina sighed, "It’s always the children from struggling families who are the most understanding. Just three years old, yet handles whatever cos without crying or fussing. Doesn’t cry with injections, takes dicine obediently, and even comforts her mother, saying it doesn’t hurt at all."
At this point, Nina was a bit choked up, "It’s just heartbreaking to watch."
That’s why she made this call, just hoping to help this considerate young girl a bit more.
"Send the hospital ward number, Jas Black and I will co by to see the little lass." Jane Sampson said, "Happens we’re out and about with nothing to do right now."
"Sure, if you co, the little lass will be over the moon; she really likes you!" Nina was very pleased, "You’re truly the kindest Monkey King in this world."
"Did the country’s nine-year compulsory education mold you into this shape? Can’t even complint soone? Despicable!" Jane Sampson humd twice and hung up the phone.
Jas Black, after paying, stood behind Jane Sampson waiting for her to finish the call, naturally overhearing the content of her conversation with Nina.
Once Jane Sampson hung up, he asked, "Which hospital?"
"The city’s First Hospital." Jane Sampson opened the case photo, took a glance, and sighed, "Leukemia."
Jane Sampson sent the case to Old Master Black and left a WhatsApp ssage before exiting the app.
The two bought so stuff at the shopping mall, and after leaving they drove directly to the city’s First Hospital, where they saw Nina waiting by the ward doorway.
"It’s a large six-person ward; once inside, don’t take off your mask imdiately. Wait until the curtain is pulled separately before removing it," Nina reminded.
The nurse saw the sympathy in Grace and her daughter’s plight, which was why they were arranged into this six-person ward initially. Sister Grace said when they first arrived, there weren’t even beds available, so they added extra beds in the corridor.
Later, when soone was discharged, the little lass moved into the ward, which was an eight-person room initially.
Busy and chaotic.
The nurse kept an eye out for Sister Grace, and as soon as there was a spot in the six-person room they moved them there.
While they reduced the number by two, it still didn’t entirely eliminate the noise.
