"Awake?" Jas Black glanced at the mobile phone then put it away, responding again, "I didn’t make tomato noodles for you, I’m planning to stir-fry a dish of Manchurian wild rice with at."
Since Jane Sampson likes Manchurian wild rice, Jas Black bought so when he went grocery shopping.
Unfortunately, he’s not very good at picking groceries and realized during the peeling and chopping step that he’d bought quite a bit of waste.
"Well, good luck!" Jane Sampson thought for a while, then cheerfully returned to the living room.
Knowing her expression, Jas Black knew she was secretly mocking him, convinced that she wouldn’t be having Manchurian wild rice tonight.
In terms of culinary skills, Jas Black has been disdained by Jane Sampson before.
And it’s not his first ti being determined to change Jane Sampson’s opinion of him.
But when the Manchurian wild rice ca out of the pot, Jas Black tasted it, and still kept a straight face as he directly dumped the stuff into the trash can next to him, then reheated the leftover al from noon and set it on the table to call Jane Sampson to eat.
"Hey, where’s the Manchurian wild rice with at you promised to stir-fry for ?" Jane Sampson asked the question deliberately as she sat down at the table without seeing the dish, with no showing of real confusion on her face.
"Manchurian wild rice?" Jas Black reached out and served Jane Sampson a chopstickful of leftover braised pork from noon, "Hurry up and eat, don’t waste food."
Jane Sampson propped her chin watching Jas Black, smiling, "The Manchurian wild rice sprouts, you know, the white ones, the ones you said just now in the kitchen that you’d cook for ~"
"I threw it away." Jas Black admitted somberly to another culinary flop.
Despite following the cookbook step-by-step, sohow what he cooked was just inedible.
At first, it was undercooked.
Later re-cooked for a while, and in just a short ti, it was burned.
Especially the sweet potato flour-covered shredded at laid at the bottom of the pot, which was burnt so bad that the pot had to be scrubbed several tis before it got clean.
"Tomorrow I’ll make it for you, tomorrow morning I won’t go jogging, right?" Jane Sampson moved closer to Jas Black, "You see, it’s really cold when getting up in the morning, since the weather’s been cooler recently, how about giving a day off tomorrow?"
