Jane Sampson was protesting loudly the whole ti.
It wasn’t until Jas Black carried her to the main gate, and he was about to open the door and leave, that Jane Sampson reached out and tightly grabbed the cabinet door of the entryway, "I’m faking! I’m faking! I’m faking illness!"
Defeated!
Defeated!
Why does everyone else have a boyfriend who just tells them to drink more hot water, while she has a husband who says to go to the hospital and actually does?
She pleads for the country to swap her husband for one that recomnds hot water!
Jane Sampson’s declaration of "I’m faking" made Jas Black’s hand, which was opening the door, suddenly pause.
He lowered his head, using a scrutinizing gaze to stare at Jane Sampson.
His gaze was sowhat stern, as if determining whether Jane Sampson was faking illness to avoid going to the hospital.
"Put down! You’re so annoying! So annoying! So annoying! I’ll go jogging, alright! Put down, I’ll go brush my teeth!" Jane Sampson was livid, glaring fiercely at Jas Black.
It was only at this mont that Jas Black believed Jane Sampson was genuinely faking illness to avoid the morning run.
Jas Black almost coldly released Jane Sampson from his arms.
"You lied about being sick just to avoid jogging?" Jas Black asked with a chilling voice.
Jane Sampson’s heart skipped a beat with his tone and expression.
This bad feeling suddenly leapt out.
She seems to have...
Screwed up.
"I..." Jane Sampson opened her mouth to explain, but didn’t know how.
Because what Jas Black said was true.
While faking illness, she didn’t think it was such an outrageous thing.
But at this mont, realizing Jas Black was angry, and really angry, Jane Sampson realized she might have done sothing major to provoke Commander Black’s temper.
The last ti she saw Jas Black looking at her with such a gloomy expression was during the last Cold War, when he hid on the balcony smoking, not talking to her for a long ti.
Jas Black stared fixedly at Jane Sampson, speaking up, "You..."
But he only managed to say one word and didn’t continue.
Jas Black wanted to say.
Do you know how guilty I felt just now for not taking good care of you.
Do you realize how worried I was about your body just now.
After a long ti, Jas Black uttered two words, "Forget it."
Then turned around and went back to the bedroom.
Jane Sampson was left at the doorway entryway, looking at his back as he entered the bedroom, feeling deeply regretful inside.
Jas Black was angry.
This ti he’s really angry.
So angry he didn’t want to deal with her, leaving her here.
Jane Sampson tapped her toe against the floor, listening with ears perked for any sound from the bedroom, but heard nothing.
Only then did she step towards the bedroom and hear movent on the balcony, so she walked over.
Jas Black was on the balcony washing clothes.
Washing the clothes she and he had changed out of yesterday.
"Jas~" Jane Sampson stood at the balcony door and called out to Jas Black.
Jas looked back at her for a mont, but didn’t answer, turning back to continue washing clothes.
It seed like all his anger was being vented onto the clothes; he washed them with great force, rubbing and scrubbing.
Jane Sampson thought if the clothes were her, she might be rubbed into pieces.
Jane Sampson stood there watching for a few minutes before heading back to the restroom to wash up, tie her hair, tidy her clothes, and then return to the balcony to stand behind Jas Black.
"I’m ready, let’s go jogging." Jane Sampson reached out and tugged at the back of his clothes.
But Jas Black still ignored her, continuing to scrub clothes there.
