Jane Sampson tilted her head up and gave Jas Black a sweet, sweet smile, "You go rest a bit, I’ll have the al ready soon, and I’ll call you to eat later."
Jane Sampson thought Jas Black should hug her or kiss her, but he didn’t.
Jas Black grabbed the stuff, didn’t even glance at her, and turned to leave.
Jane Sampson stood there puzzled, thinking.
So, was her alarm deactivated?
Or was it not deactivated?
Jane Sampson shook her head, "Since he’s taken the stuff, he must not be mad anymore."
With this lightheartedness, Jane Sampson finished the lunch, the als were served on the table, the three dishes and one soup were colorful, fragrant, and delicious. Jane Sampson took off her apron and called Jas Black who was in the study.
But, when it was ti to eat, Jane Sampson realized she had lifted her alarm too early.
She knew it, how could Jas Black be so easy to console!
How could a mad daddy Black be appeased by just a few cards?
During the al, Jas Black didn’t say a single word to her.
Nor did he look at her.
Clearly, he was still mad.
Jane Sampson was deflated.
She rested her chin on the already cleaned tabletop.
What else was he expecting?
He’d already taken the cards.
How could he still be mad?
Isn’t this unreasonable?
Isn’t this just being a sore loser?
She had given no less than three cards!
Jas Black ca out from the kitchen, didn’t even glance at the little disheartened monkey lying by the dinner table, and went straight into the study.
Jane Sampson waited until Jas Black went in before she sat upright again, scratched her head, and grew anxious.
Yet, she wasn’t happy.
This feeling was just like having eaten a sour, unripe grape.
Jane Sampson lingered in the living room for a few minutes before stepping to the study.
She plopped down opposite Jas Black, seeing him still practicing calligraphy, she took out her mobile phone and rapidly typed a ssage to Jas Black on WhatsApp.
You’ve accepted my gift; how can you still be mad! — Jas Black’s wife.
Then, daringly, she reached out and snatched the pen from Jas Black’s hand. When he lifted his gaze to glance at her, she proudly turned her head aside, extending her mobile phone forward.
Hmph!
Since he wasn’t talking to her, she too would rather not talk to him!
After a few seconds, Jas Black pushed her hand back.
Then, Jane Sampson received a new ssage on WhatsApp.
There’s no law in our nation stating that taking stuff prevents one from continuing to be mad. — Jane Sampson’s Mr. Black.
Upon seeing this line, Jane Sampson nearly choked to death.
What he said made so much sense, what to do?
He’s accepted the stuff and still mad, he simply lacks sha, but, he’s not breaking the law.
Jane Sampson turned her head toward Jas Black, who nonchalantly continued practicing calligraphy, and for a mont, she had the impulse to throw her mobile phone at his face.
But, she held back.
Then give back the stuff! — Jas Black’s wife.
After sending it, Jane Sampson heard Jas Black’s phone ding with a new WhatsApp ssage notification.
After waiting a few seconds, Jane Sampson hadn’t received a reply from Jas Black.
So she sent him another ssage.
Give it back! — Jas Black’s wife.
Only to find out, with a system notification stating, you are not the other’s friend, the other party cannot receive your ssage.
???
!!!!
Jane Sampson was completely dumbfounded.
So, while she was waiting for his reply, Jas Black had quietly blocked her, right in front of her?
Jane Sampson had not even recovered from the shock of being blocked as a WhatsApp friend by Jas Black, and he had already left the study.
