"Let tell you, not only are the snacks I make delicious, but the dishes I cook are also exceptionally tasty. I can make bento boxes like giant pandas and cakes that look like flowers. Would you like to try?" Jane Sampson bent down to tease the little lass.

"Yes, I want to eat." The little girl swallowed, glanced at her mother, then nodded honestly.

"Then co to my house and be my daughter, and I’ll cook delicious food for you every day. How about it?" Jane Sampson asked with a grin like a sly old granny.

The little lass glanced once more at her smiling mother, then gave Jas Black a quick peek.

Seemingly pondering, hesitating for a few seconds.

She crisply shouted to Jane Sampson, "Mom!"

Then turned to Jas Black and called out, "Dad!"

After shouting, perhaps worrying about making her real mom upset, she scampered back to her mother’s side, reaching out to hold her mother’s hand, comforting her, "Mom, don’t be sad. I won’t abandon you. After I’ve had my fill at the new mom’s house, I’ll co back ho. Don’t worry, I won’t disappear."

"Hahaha~" Jane Sampson almost laughed until she was out of breath.

Even Jas Black, amused by the little lass, stood there smiling with the corners of his lips curled up.

Every ti he saw Shirley Young’s daughter, he couldn’t help but think that in the future, his and Jane Sampson’s daughter would probably be another little greedy cat like her.

Because of this playful conversation, Jane Sampson simply invited Shirley Young’s wife to bring her daughter over for lunch at her house.

After finishing their morning exercise and returning ho, Jane Sampson tidied up at ho and then went out to buy groceries with Jas Black.

The two didn’t go to the supermarket but instead headed to the largest nearby market. At this ti, the market’s vegetables were freshest and had the most variety. Knowing the little girl loved seafood, Jane Sampson bought quite a bit of it to take back.

As Jane Sampson and Jas Black wandered around the market, even if soone stared at them for a while, they wouldn’t think of them as a celebrity couple. The auntie selling vegetables praised Jane Sampson, who was wearing a mask, for being pretty and also complinted Jas Black for being handso.

While Jane Sampson and Jas Black were happily accepting complints from the market auntie, on the other side, Father Chip and his family of three had finally squeezed through the crowd after a ten-hour-long train journey.

Just outside the train station, Christopher Chip, Jillian Carter’s blood-related younger brother, kept urging his much older and slower parents, "Hurry up, can’t you move faster? It’s just a short distance, and it’s so flat! Why are you walking so slow?"

Christopher Chip felt a bit anxious, partly due to the substantial usurious loans pressuring his mind, eager to get so money from Jillian Carter to pay it off, and partly tired from staying on the train for more than ten hours, yearning to get to the most luxurious hotel to eat well and enjoy himself.

"Coming, coming~" There was not a bit of displeasure on Father Chip and Mother Chip’s faces from being rushed by their son. Instead, their faces showed a proud expression.

They thought to themselves, "Our son truly is remarkable. After leaving the train station, he found the taxi spot without even asking for directions!"

Christopher Chip, waiting ahead, opened the door to the co-pilot seat and got in the car first, then took out his mobile phone from his pocket and opened the album. It displayed a photo, a photo of the address where Jillian Carter currently lived.

When Father Chip and Mother Chip got in the car, the taxi driver was looking at Christopher Chip’s mobile phone, then glanced at the two passengers who had just boarded and said to Christopher Chip with a smile, "This is the newest and most upscale residential community in our city, right? Do you have relatives living there? I’ve heard that those who live there are either officials and leaders or big bosses in business."
