The man whose face was smashed by the pillow clearly remained delighted, showing no hint of annoyance. After removing the pillow from his face, he stuffed it back under Jane Sampson’s head.
"Jas Black."
Jane fud silently, finding his laughter utterly nonsensical.
"You’re complaining about my kissing techniques now?"
Her voice rose slightly, "Don’t you think, if I were superb at kissing, you’d have sothing to worry about?"
Her marriage contract with Jas had been set since they were both very young. Just judging by Jas’s bed skills alone, Jane was certain she was both his first and only woman.
Of course, bed skills aside, having been bound by a marriage contract since childhood and considering Jas’s old cadre mindset, he wouldn’t possibly date other won, let alone engage in intimate acts with them.
Similarly, Jane had been branded as Jas Black’s fiancée from a young age, so in the great courtyard, who would dare to give Jane an extra glance?
In the years of budding romance, she still lived in the great courtyard, and after moving out with the Sampton family later, others busied themselves with dating while she was occupied with studying, playing the piano, and participating in various competitions.
All of her attention was never diverted even a fraction to personal relationships.
Her classmates started pairing off in high school, yet Jane’s heart was like an undisturbed well.
After many years of marriage, and adding up the tis before and after her rebirth, she could count on her hands the number of tis she and Jas had kissed.
And before her rebirth, even during their most intimate monts, she had never kissed Jas like just now.
That was a kiss that seed like a soul-to-soul communion, making her entire body feverish.
So, he had the nerve to criticize her kissing abilities?
Jas’s laughter did not cease despite Jane’s comnts, but in line with his personality, the laughter was deep.
"I’m just like you," Jas said, "but Jane, who was it that last ti boasted about her excellent learning ability?"
Knowing Jane wouldn’t answer him, Jas continued on his own, "I didn’t neglect to use my learning ability, but what about yours, Jane?"
Eaten by a dog.
Jane grudgingly admitted to herself, but she did not voice it.
After speaking, Jas waited for Jane’s response, only to find her as silent as a mute. If she hadn’t quietly hmphed, he might have thought she had fallen asleep again.
"Speak." Jas said.
"You’re so annoying!"
Jane pushed at the man beside her, her cheeks burning. So, after last ti she criticized his bed skills, he went and seriously learned?
Jane was sowhat curious and also wanted to ask, how does one learn such things?
Of course, while her mind was curious, not a hundred units of courage would make her dare to ask Jas directly.
Jane’s strength was insufficient to push Jas away, as the arm he had around her waist tightened, pulling her closer into his embrace. He stopped teasing her when he spoke again.
"It’s very late, let’s sleep."
Holding her felt indeed much better than holding that ugly rabbit.
Jane struggled briefly in Jas’s arms but knowing he had no intention of letting her go, she gave up after a while and closed her eyes. The physical and ntal exhaustion took over, and in less than a minute, she fell back into a deep sleep. The next morning Jane was woken by Jas; upon waking, it seed as if the sky had just started to brighten, still a dim gray.
