"Okay, once I get it, I’ll definitely read it carefully." Jane Sampson agreed.
After hanging up the phone, Jane Sampson wasn’t in a hurry to go back to the dormitory. She turned to Jas Black and said, "Coco will be back soon to deliver a script to . Sister Tin said it will take at most half an hour, so why don’t we take a walk and wait until I get the script before going back? Otherwise, it would be really painful to leave such a warm dormitory again."
Jane Sampson was rarely so diligent, so Jas Black naturally did not have a reason to refuse.
He reached out and zipped Jane Sampson’s coat up a little further, then held her hand in his palm to warm it.
Jane Sampson feared the cold more than the heat, so every winter, she envied all the hibernating animals who could sleep until spring in one go.
"Jas Black." Jane Sampson looked up at Jas Black, like a curious baby, and asked, "Are all boys’ hands as warm as yours?"
"I don’t know, I haven’t held another man’s hand." Jas Black lowered his eyes and glanced at Jane Sampson. Seeing her eyebrows raise, he continued, "And you won’t have the chance to find out if other boys’ hands are as warm."
"..." Jane Sampson touched her nose and let out a chuckle.
She had really been thinking just now of telling Jas Black that she would go and try it later.
The two walked leisurely, occasionally stopping to greet passersby and exchange a word or two. So, when Jane Sampson arrived at the doorway, Coco Edwards arrived after less than two minutes.
Getting out of the taxi with Coco Edwards was Grid.
After such a long ti, Grid’s leg no longer needed support and could walk on its own, although only for short periods.
"Little Jane, here’s the script. Sister Bell instructed, make sure to read it carefully and think it through." After speaking, Coco Edwards noticed Jane Sampson’s eyes sparkling with curiosity, darting back and forth between her and Grid.
"Don’t stare at people like that, it’ll make them shy." Coco Edwards moved to block Jane Sampson’s gaze at Grid. "Look at , just look at ."
"Fine, I’ll look at you." Jane Sampson leaned her hand on Coco Edwards’ shoulder and rested against her. "What’s the situation between you two now? Are you together?"
Coco Edwards answered openly, nodding and then looking at Grid. "Yes, he’s my boyfriend now."
If Coco Edwards had been evasive, Jane Sampson might have dug deeper for so gossip.
But since Coco Edwards admitted it so straightforwardly, Jane Sampson was montarily speechless.
"Hmm." She touched her chin. "When did you officially get together?"
"A few days ago, he asked to go watch a movie. After the movie, he confessed to , and I agreed." Coco Edwards said, "Grid is truly good to ."
"Does he know about your family’s situation?" Jane Sampson asked if Grid knew about Coco Edwards’ troubleso relatives.
"Yes, when I sensed he might be interested in pursuing , I started giving him little hints. My initial thought was that if he got scared after knowing, it would be better to draw a line before he confessed, so no one gets awkward later. But he said he likes for , not my family. So, as long as I want to be with him, he’s willing to take care of for a lifeti."
