"Who’s flaunting their love?" Jane Sampson snatched Nina Rice’s mobile phone from her hand, casually swiped through it a few tis, and then handed it back to Nina, muttering, "You know I’m really noisy, posting several Monts a day is pretty normal for ."
"Before, I hardly ever saw you post about Jas Black in your Monts for a whole year." Nina’s smile got craftier, "Jane Sampson, co on, tell what’s in your heart. You don’t really want to divorce Jas Black, do you?"
"That’s not true. If Jas is willing to divorce, I definitely won’t have second thoughts," Jane answered quickly.
Seeing that Nina still had that expression on her face, Jane felt increasingly guilty.
If it wasn’t for Nina pointing it out, Jane wouldn’t have noticed that her Monts seed to be taken over by that guy, Jas Black.
It was an inexplicable takeover.
Jane thought to herself that this couldn’t go on, she had to break the habit of ranting about Jas Black in her Monts from now on.
Nina looked at Jane aningfully, not saying a word; the premise here was that Jas would be the one to initiate the divorce. But Nina didn’t think soone with Jas’s temperant, an old family patriarch and old cadre, would be the type to initiate a divorce.
Before, it wasn’t that Jane’s Monts were completely devoid of Jas Black-related posts throughout the year.
Once or twice, maybe three tis over the course of a year.
It would be when Jas, on a whim, told her he was coming ho on the weekend, and Jane would go crazy in her Monts, posting a new update.
People who weren’t familiar with Jane would see the post and think she was just having a mont of frustration.
Those who knew Jane, like Peter Gingery and Nina, could tell when Jas was going to co ho just by that post.
"Stop talking about . What about you?" Jane cleverly shifted the topic to Nina, "Last ti I asked what you were planning to do after leaving the consulting firm, you didn’t go into details. It was just before I went out that I got a call from your mother and found out you were planning to open a hotpot chain store?"
Nina’s expression froze, and she looked sowhat displeased, "Why does she always have to do this!"
"I heard from Aunt that you’ve been having trouble finding investors?" Jane asked, "How’s the progress now?"
After speaking, Jane imdiately slapped her card down on the tabletop from her purse, "You really don’t treat like a friend, considering we’ve been such good sisters for so long. If you’re short on money, just tell ! You know I’m not short on money."
Nina was stunned by Jane’s generous gesture. She held her forehead, "My initial investnt is quite hefty, and I want to do it all at once, make it big, make it good. I didn’t tell you because I knew you’d do this if I said anything, but I don’t want to lose your money."
"It’s okay, if it’s lost, it’s lost," Jane shook her head, not caring at all, "Besides, I trust your abilities. Ever since we were kids, whatever it is that Nina Rice wants to do, there’s nothing she can’t accomplish."
Hearing Nina talk about hefty initial investnts, Jane looked down at her card, "This is all my current liquid funds, the dividends from the Sampton Clan over the years, and the funds and annual dividends from financial investnts left by my grandparents. I haven’t had much in terms of expenses before, and it should have accumulated to a good sum over the years. Take it for now, and if it’s still not enough, I’ll have my investnt manager cash out all my financial investnts and transfer them to you first."
"No, I can’t. Those were left to you by Grandpa Sampton and Granny Sampton, we can’t touch them," Nina quickly refused, looking seriously at Jane, her heart feeling touched.
