"I didn’t say you loved Jas Black, what are you getting worked up for?" Nina Rice retorted languidly, then explained, "The ’lover’ I’m talking about is just another term for husband."
"..." Inside, Jane likely had a hamr she wanted to smash Nina with.
Can’t she just speak plainly?
Why does she have to be so ambiguous and scare people like that?
Her heart disease was about to be scared out of her.
"I think I won’t get any good advice from you," Jane said.
"No, on the contrary, I suggest you take this opportunity to propose divorce to Jas Black. Darling, after you do this, you will receive a lifeti’s worth of rewards," Nina chuckled more joyfully.
Jane paused, then asked gloomily, "Nina, are you secretly in love with Chief Black?" Was that why she was urging her to go to Chief Black and risk her life so Nina could climb up over her dead body?
"Oh ho, so Chief Black is ’your’ man now?" Nina was still not done teasing when Jane quickly ended the call.
Watching the mobile phone screen automatically return to the ho screen, Nina’s laughter was wickedly gleeful.
"With that rabbit’s gall, she still flaunts on Monts about making Mr. Black furious. Now that she has truly angered him, why doesn’t she go flaunt it on Monts again?"
That’s what you call climbing onto the roof without the courage to lift a tile.
Not having obtained any practical advice from Nina, Jane opened her mobile phone browser and typed a line into the search bar: How to please an angry boyfriend.
After the web page loaded, Jane scrolled down for a few seconds.
Thinking it over, she went back to the search bar and revised it to—How to coax a husband when he’s angry?
Opening the top link, Jane began to read with interest.

And then, Jane was lost. Had the internet started to beco this unserious?
So, since Jas Black was already so angry, she might as well let him stay angry.
Anyway, the deadline for her to go ho was a month away. Jas Black couldn’t possibly stay angry with her for an entire month, could he?
