"You’re not going to tell him?" Quincy Forest looked surprised, seeing that Jane Sampson wasn’t joking, Quincy Forest felt even more baffled, "I can’t figure you two out."
Anyway, over the past month, she and Jane Sampson were inseparable, and she had not seen Jane Sampson make a phone call to her husband or even send a text ssage.
When the two ’little sisters’ lay chatting on a bed, Jane Sampson had never ntioned anything about her and her husband, Jas Black.
Quincy Forest thought that she really didn’t understand the marriage between Jane Sampson and Jas Black. Maybe it was because she was still young or perhaps because she hadn’t entered the world of marriage, so she couldn’t empathize?
There was one advantage of eating soy milk and stead buns: Jane Sampson could happily feed herself with her left hand. After the al, the two sat for a while until Kane Forest called Quincy Forest, and then they picked up their luggage and went down to the hotel first floor to et Kane Forest.
Checking out of the hotel was handled by Kane Forest’s assistant. Jane Sampson and her brother Kane stood next to each other waiting. She got up early in the morning and because of the inconvenience caused by her hand injury, Jane Sampson hadn’t put on makeup. Furthermore, since she hadn’t rested well last night, her complexion wasn’t too good.
Kane Forest was quite tall, and by standing, he could easily see Jane Sampson’s face.
Frankly, this was the third ti he had t his cousin, who was also his friend.
The first ti was at the airport, where this girl had given him the impression of being very beautiful and having a great aura.
But that was it.
The second ti they t was last night; she was dressed in quirky attire, looking like a goth, and he later found out she was an actor.
Today, without makeup and probably due to a lack of rest last night, she looked a bit tired. Yet, she was still very beautiful.
A little after 3 in the afternoon, the airplane landed at Capital Province Airport.
At the airport exit, Kane Forest politely inquired about Jane Sampson’s residence, and seeing no one had co to pick her up, he prepared to take her ho.
"No need, the direction I live and your direction are completely opposite. At this ti, taking detours would just complicate things. I’ll just take a taxi ho," Jane Sampson said with thanks, "for the hospital yesterday and the hotel, thank you for Mr. Forest’s help and care. When there’s a chance, my husband and I will invite you and your siblings out for a al."
Kane Forest smiled just right, no longer insisting on driving Jane Sampson but still courteously helped her into the taxi.
After the taxi had driven away, Kane Forest turned and asked Quincy Forest, "She’s married?"
"Yep," said Quincy Forest, inwardly muttering, "Actually, we should have offered her a ride ho. She’s hurt and all alone. How sad. But since she said no, I didn’t want to insist. She always likes to act tough."
Kane Forest was quite surprised, "From her tone, you also know her husband?"
"I know him, my brother knows him, and even you have seen him," Quincy Forest said mysteriously, "Do you want to know who it is? We’ll find out when she and her husband invite us to dinner, won’t we?"
After saying this, Quincy Forest imdiately sighed, "But with her husband being that way, who knows when we’ll ever get that al."
Kane Forest initially assud that it must be that Jane Sampson’s husband didn’t love her or even neglected her, which is why even after she returned to Capital Province and despite being injured, he hadn’t co to the airport to pick her up.
Considering such a girl, who seed quite deserving of pity, as well as beautiful and gentle, Kane Forest thought, her husband must be blind.
On Saturday, traffic in Capital Province showed not the slightest improvent from a regular day, congested all the way. From the airport to ho, it took twice the usual ti.
Having landed a little after 3 o’clock, by the ti Jane Sampson reached the doorway of her ho, it was nearly 6 o’clock.
