Jane’s eyes were crescent-shaped as she laughed, then she handed the nu to Jas Carter.
"Mr. Carter, Ms. Little, have you eaten at this restaurant before?" Jane asked.
"No, I rarely co to Capital Province," Jas Carter shook his head. "This place was recomnded by a friend; it’s my first ti here."
"Ms. Little is probably the sa, right?" Jane looked at Ms. Little, who was also not a local from Capital Province. Following Ms. Little’s nod, Jane said, "I’ve been here several tis, so may I recomnd a few dishes for the two teachers without reservation?"
Jane had dined alone with Ms. Little several tis and knew her taste well—a true lover of spicy food.
And as for Jas Carter, Jane’s long-cherished idol, she knew from many interviews that he was a southerner with a preference for lighter flavors and unable to handle spicy food.
Knowing the teachers’ tastes, Jane recomnded several dishes according to their preferences and flipped through the nu to show them. She only made recomndations but left the final decisions to them.

"I’ve sent the friend request," Jane put her phone down and smiled at Jas Carter before picking up her lemon water and taking a drink.
"Okay," Jas Carter had already heard the notification sound and saw the alert on WhatsAPP. His fingertip tapped lightly to open the new friend request.
But...
Jas Carter’s finger hovered over the mobile phone screen, his expression one of complete shock.
He hesitated, and after a few seconds, he slowly looked up at Jane, locking eyes with her amused gaze. He hesitated for a few more seconds, then read out Jane’s WhatsAPP nickna, word by word.
"Jas Carter’s... Mrs. Carter?" Jas Carter thought for a mont, then asked to confirm, "Is that you?"
"Pfft~"
Jane, caught off-guard, sprayed out a mouthful of water, but thankfully, she turned her head away in ti to avoid any embarrassnt.
After hearing this, Ms. Little fell silent for a few seconds, and then burst into hearty laughter.
