"Isn’t that obvious? It’s definitely Goddess Sampton we’re all looking forward to, haven’t we all joined her fan club already? Let tell you, half of the people in our guard team are waiting for Goddess Sampton to co," Lieutenant Johnson said, "At first, I felt like having a bunch of stars co to our guard team was just making work for us for no good reason, but when I saw Goddess Sampton’s na on the participant list, I suddenly felt this show had a special aning."

Lieutenant Johnson has been a fan of Jane Sampson since the last ti he saw her publicity video, and although he didn’t know much about the girl, she gave off a very comfortable vibe at first glance, quite different from many of the influencer’s faces on the internet realm nowadays; she was distinctive and her beauty was soothing to behold.

Well, most people are visual animals that judge by appearance, who doesn’t judge by the first look they get? Who has x-ray vision to see the inner qualities right away? Isn’t it all about whether soone looks good or not?

anwhile, a team mber who overheard Peter Gingery and Lieutenant Johnson chattering about Jane Sampson joined in the conversation, "The last ti I went ho, my grandpa saw a photo of Goddess Sampton on my mobile phone and he praised her, saying Goddess Sampton’s face looked like a very fortunate girl."

"I know your grandpa can tell fortunes by looking at faces and also does water divining, right?" Lieutenant Johnson asked.

"Yes, my family has been doing this for generations; my big brother is still learning it from my dad, and even my sister knows quite a bit. It’s just who’s the exception," said the team mber, who then chuckled to himself and walked away.

Peter Gingery silently watched the team mber walk away, muttering to himself. So, his family has been involved in scamming people all this ti, that grandpa’s face-reading was way off.

Jane Sampson fortunate?

To be honest, Peter Gingery really hadn’t felt that Jane Sampson was fortunate in any way.

Misfortunate would be more like it.

How could soone fortunate get entangled in all the ss of the Sampton family? Would a fortunate person end up in his brother’s household registration book to be ssed with by his brother?

In Peter Gingery’s view, Jane Sampson’s life had been miserable from the start, which is why he had always tried to be as good to Jane as possible. Growing up well through all those hardships was truly no easy feat.

"Old Johnson, look, you like Jane Sampson so much, right? You’ve just beco a fan of Goddess Sampton, and before you know it, you’ll be seeing her in person. Maybe you’ll even get an autograph or a signed photo with her, and you’ll spend several days with her. It’s like a dream co true." Peter Gingery patted Lieutenant Johnson on the shoulder.

After laughing, he continued, "So, you should seize this opportunity, and that’s why you shouldn’t bother sending the docunts to my brother’s. Anyway, he asked for it himself; it wouldn’t matter if you didn’t send them."

Lieutenant Johnson was utterly baffled by Peter Gingery, "What does my liking Goddess Sampton have to do with whether or not I send a backup copy of the docunts to the Chief?"

"How does it not matter?" Peter Gingery could tell that Lieutenant Johnson hadn’t opened the file yet but had only looked at the participant list.

"Go back, and once you’ve finished reading and reviewing all the docunts, you’ll understand the connection," Peter Gingery said. "Also, you haven’t ntioned to anyone else about Jane Sampson coming to the guard team for the program recording, have you?"

"I haven’t had the chance to share the good news with anyone," Lieutenant Johnson replied. "I only just managed to ntion it to you."

He had just stepped out of his ho today when he happened to co across Peter Gingery and casually ntioned it to him.
