Jas Carter imdiately stood up, he wanted to find Jane Sampson and talk to her about the song right away.
But by the ti he had reached the doorway, Jas Carter turned back. At this ti, it was almost 4 a.m., and Jane must have already been asleep. Going to bed so late, she must have been exhausted, and to go there now would be to truly disturb her.
Jas Carter, excited, paced back and forth in the room, thinking it over. He first saved the recording Jane had sent to his mobile phone and then forwarded it directly to John Young, along with the picture.
After sending the ssages, Jas Carter imdiately made a call to John Young.
At 4 a.m., even the workaholic John Young was resting. Receiving a call from Jas Carter late at night, John wasn’t the least bit angry.
"You haven’t rested at this hour? Looking for inspiration? Are you calling to tell you’ve found it?" John’s voice carried the depth and huskiness of just having woken up, perhaps guessing that Jas had an inspiration, which made him surprisingly in good spirits.
Filming had already wrapped up, and the whole drama had entered the post-production stage, which made the the song especially important. During this period, John had been asking Jas about the the song, but Jas kept saying he wasn’t satisfied.
Jas was anxious, but John was even more so. He was a true perfectionist; if the the song still didn’t satisfy him even after post-production was nearly complete, he would likely consider pushing back the film premiere.
There was no word for "settle" in John’s dictionary.
"I sent you a WhatsApp ssage, go have a listen," said Jas, his voice full of excitent, "I think your movie can premiere on schedule now."
After the call, Jas hung up, leaving enough ti for John to listen to Jane Sampson’s song properly.
Five minutes.
A full five minutes.
An exact five minutes.
John called back, and as soon as Jas answered, he was t with John’s excited voice.
"It’s fantastic! Really fantastic!" exclaid John, "Who is this girl singing? Her voice is just so beautiful, and the nursery rhy used as the opening lody is just perfect, imdiately drawing people into the mood, along with this girl’s voice and her powerful emotions, Jas Carter, this song is going to be a classic!"
"She is Jane Sampson. You can find her information on the internet. She solved the problem that has been troubling us for several months in just one night," praised Jas Carter generously to his friend about Jane, "She is really good, truly excellent."
"Jane Sampson? The one who just made her debut recently? Isn’t her agent Rock Bell, Daniel Taylor’s wife? She had a role in the TV series that Daniel is currently filming," John indeed knew of Jane, not so much for her fa but because of Daniel and his wife.
Everyone inside the circle knew that Daniel’s wife was a golden agent and that Rock Bell had been earnestly promoting Jane Sampson. Hence, Daniel also provided Jane with quite a lot of resources.
As an artist, within the industry circle, Jane Sampson was definitely one of the few who debuted at a high starting point.
"Yes, it’s her," Jas was pleased that his friend also knew about the person he greatly admired.
