Because she wrote the lyrics herself, every single word ca from the bottom of her heart.
So, she wanted to sing.
It was just because she wasn’t a singer and had never considered before that she could sing her work for many, many people to hear.
"You can do it," said Jas Carter, "John Young and I are in agreent. Your voice, including the emotions you show when singing this song, is very compelling and penetrative. Don’t laugh, but last night, when we heard your a cappella, both John and I were moved to tears."
After saying this, Jas Carter paused before he asked, "Don’t you want to sing the song you wrote the lyrics for?"
"Yes," Jane Sampson answered crisply.
Very much so.
Last night, she had even dread about it.
"Then it’s settled," Jas Carter smiled, "I’m very much looking forward to our new collaboration."
Even more than the MV this ti.
Thanks to Jane Sampson’s punctuality, the morning’s filming work went smoothly and wrapped up quickly. After everyone had lunch at the holiday village, they left and spent the next few days shooting additional scenes in various locations. By Thursday evening, Jane Sampson’s MV filming work had smoothly concluded.
After the work was done, Jas Carter treated the entire crew to a al at the fanciest private restaurant in Springtown.
During the al, the photographer asked Jane how long she planned to stay in Springtown. After the photographer finished asking, Jas Carter, looking sowhat apologetic, said, "I originally planned to show you around Springtown myself, to let you see the sights, but unfortunately, I’ve beco quite busy these last few days. If you don’t mind, may I have my assistant show you and Elizabeth King around Springtown for a few days?"
Because after finalizing the the song, Jas Carter had his single to focus on as well as the the song work.
Jane Sampson hadn’t even returned to the Capital Province, and Jas Carter’s Studio had already discussed this matter with Jane Sampson’s manager.
"No need, I plan to sleep in tomorrow and then catch an afternoon flight back," Jane Sampson shook her head, "Been away for several days, I miss being at ho."
Or rather, there was a tiny, tiny bit of her that was starting to miss a certain very annoying person.
Jas Carter understood. Jane Sampson was married, and although they didn’t have children yet, it was natural for her to miss her husband after being away for so many days.
With that thought, Jas Carter didn’t press further.
After all, it wouldn’t be long before Jane Sampson would be visiting Springtown again, so he could treat her well next ti just the sa.
The dinner ended, and when they got back to the hotel, it was already twelve o’clock.
Jane Sampson returned to her room and put her stuff down. First, she went online to look up the flight schedule from Springtown to the Capital Province for the next day. Then, she sent a WhatsAPP ssage to Jas Black.
Are you asleep? — Jas Black’s wife.
Jas Black usually slept early, so Jane Sampson thought he would be resting by this ti, but unexpectedly, Jas Black replied imdiately.
Not yet — Jane Sampson’s Mr. Black.
Upon seeing this, Jane Sampson imdiately made a video call to Jas Black; when he answered, she smiled at him through the screen, "My filming work here is done!"
Jas Black’s eyebrows raised slightly, his voice unable to hide his pleasure, "Have you booked the flight for tomorrow at what ti?"
"Not yet, I wanted to ask what ti you can get out from the guard team to pick up. I’ll book it according to your schedule," Jane Sampson chuckled, "Didn’t you say you’d co pick up at the airport?"
"Book the flight that lands at five o’clock. I’ll leave here a bit early, which should work out about right," Jas Black mulled over, thinking sotis he could indeed take a little advantage of his privileges.
