"Asking for a beating, aren’t you?" Jane slapped the back of Bright Sampson’s hand, which was tugging at her scarf.
Bright let out a yelp and quickly withdrew his hand, then his gaze fell on the neck that Jane had swiftly covered. He stared for a few seconds, then assud the manner of a wronged young wife and hugged himself, "Sis! I’m still a baby! How can you expose to such unhealthy things!"
Seeing Jane give him a cold glance and ignore him, Bright forced a couple of awkward chuckles, "Hehehe, brother-in-law is really bold~"
After saying this, a pillow flew straight at his face.
"Sis! You must have summoned here to rob and murder ! You must want to kill to inherit my seven-figure QQ number!" Bright bent down to pick up the cushion that had fallen to the floor and placed it back on the sofa. Then he chased after Jane, asking curiously, "Sis, brother-in-law gave you a custom lipstick worth over 300,000? And the lipstick even has ’Jas Loves Jane’ written on it?"
Bright was highly skeptical about this, "Sis, have you fallen ill with delusions, to get a lipstick made and then pretend in your Monts that it was a gift from your brother-in-law?"
"Bright Sampton, has ti eroded your IQ during the months we haven’t seen each other?" Jane raised her eyebrows triumphantly, "Do I look like soone who would do such a thing?"
"Hmm, no, because you’ve been quite poor recently and couldn’t afford over 300,000." Bright shrugged his shoulders and laughed sleazily, "I didn’t expect my brother-in-law to have such a romantic side. Jas Loves Jane, using Mandarin, although it feels a bit low, the sentint is comndable."
"Low? I don’t think it’s low at all," Jane didn’t feel those three words were low in the slightest. On the contrary, she had always found Mandarin to be a very charming language, incomparable to those of other countries.
"Whatever you say," Bright didn’t doubt that if he continued, Jane would kick him out of the house.
Now that he was here, it would be foolish not to eat sothing before leaving.
However, from Jane’s recent Monts, Bright could tell that her relationship with Jas Black seed to have improved significantly. Just like Sister Nina Rice had said, her recent Monts were mostly about her brother-in-law.
If Jane was ho for the weekend, it seed that the brother-in-law would always co back to spend ti with her. And that man, who used to be as emotionally expressive as wood, had sohow started to understand the importance of giving gifts to his wife. Bright thought that perhaps this was a good thing; after all, a husband and wife are for a lifeti, and it’s not feasible to only see each other a couple of tis a year and behave like guests in each other’s company each ti.
Jas Black, carrying sothing rather heavy, reached the doorway only to hear Jane’s wildly amused laughter from inside the house, punctuated by the pitiful wails of Bright.
Had Bright co over?
Jas was montarily surprised; in the past, the kid would scurry away at the sight of him. Or was it that he didn’t know Jas was coming back?
Upon entering and changing his shoes, Jas walked in to see the siblings nestled on the sofa, engrossed in a mobile ga. Jane seed quite adept at it, which probably ant she was trouncing Bright badly, explaining his pathetic cries. "Jane." Neither of them had noticed his arrival, so Jas called out to her.
The woman on the sofa glanced up at him and didn’t move an inch, rely saying, "Bring the stuff into the kitchen, and we’ll talk after I finish this ga."
Whereas Bright, on the other hand, instinctively put his phone away and stared straight at him, obediently greeting, "Brother-in-law."
Jas thought, so it wasn’t just his imagination that Jane had gotten bolder recently; in the past, she would have reacted just like Bright.
