Now reading: Chapter 421 - 429: Be a Little More Obedient from CEO's Reborn Wife, a Romance novel by Breeze Never Too Late.

But the woman’s sixth intuition told Jane Sampson that she shouldn’t ask, at least not now.

"Go back to the room and take a lunch break." Jas Black saw the dark circles under Jane’s eyes, and her face still bore traces of fatigue, so he took the script from her hand and carried her directly back to the bedroom.

Jane obediently lounged in Jas Black’s arms, waiting until he had placed her on the bed, then she asked, "Jas, when are you going to stop this habit of picking people up all the ti?"

Before her rebirth, Jane rembered that Jas had only held her once, and that was on their wedding day when, according to tradition, the bride must not touch the ground as she leaves her family ho. She, dressed in her wedding gown, was carried out of the Sampton Family ho and into the marriage car by Jas, who was in his team uniform.

After that, Jane seldom interacted so carelessly with Jas. Although she married him and sought to be a qualified wife, a qualified team sister-in-law, the ti they privately spent together was mostly very quiet.

He wouldn’t talk, and she had nothing to say; he would read in the study while she spent her ti in the bedroom.

Being hugged and held by Jas was indeed a rare feeling, but within that rarity, there was another emotion seeping through.

It was strange, unclear, and indescribable.

Not disliked, and even, faintly liked and relied upon.

Seeing Jas about to speak, Jane preempted him hastily, "Forget it, forget it, if you don’t change, you don’t change. Pretend I never ntioned it."

After speaking, Jane buried her blushing face in Jas’s chest. Wasn’t her quick response a bit too obvious? Clutching his arm, her voice ca muffled from his embrace, "If you don’t change, it’s actually perfect for since I can be too lazy to walk."

It’s not that she couldn’t part with his embrace!

After Jas hesitated to speak, he said nothing at all, placed her on the soft bed, then lay down himself, adjusted his position slightly, and gathered his young wife into his arms.

Not having rested well last night, Jane truly felt sleepy all afternoon, but because she had been keeping an eye on Jas’s movents, she had been holding off going back to the bedroom to rest.

Now, lying on the bed and held by him, Jane didn’t resist the urge to sleep and soon drifted off in his arms.

After falling asleep, Jane wasn’t aware of Jas’s gaze, which remained on her face.

"Jane?" Although he could tell by her breathing that she was asleep, Jas still couldn’t help but softly call her na.

In the presence of the sleeping her, his call was no longer the three words "Jane Sampton." Uncontrollably, he spoke, it was just "Jane."

Without the formality of her surna, the endearnt sounded far more intimate.

The sleeping person naturally wouldn’t answer him or hear this gentle call of his in her lifeti. The next second, however, his endearnt changed suddenly.

"Wife, you need to behave." This sentence from Jas sounded like a soft sigh of exasperation.

It seed that every day there would be once or twice when she got terribly upset, yet most of the ti, the one pushed to the limit with anger was invariably him.

Every day, if she didn’t infuriate him once or twice, she wouldn’t seem content to settle down peacefully.

A man with a fiery temper, who, because of her, was pressingly restraining his own nature, Jas thought, in this lifeti, in this world, there probably wouldn’t be a second person who could make him go so far.

Of course, at this ti Jas couldn’t foresee that such a declaration was too absolute—years later, soone would still end up in Jane Sampson’s arms, slapping his face with a loud smack.
