Jane Sampson suddenly felt that she wasn’t that tired after all; she had taken a nap in the afternoon and it seed like she could stay up all night without sleeping. Just now, there seed to be sothing missing from the script that she hadn’t fully reviewed.
After getting an answer from Jane Sampson, Jas Black placed the book he was holding down and started waiting for Jane to return. Nearly five minutes had passed, yet there was no sign of Jane.
Jas Black frowned and called out her na and surna, "Jane Sampson."
The person in the cloakroom bit her lip and didn’t respond, giving the suitcase an idle kick.
What do you do when you pretend not to hear and don’t want to go out?
There was no movent from the person in the cloakroom, and Jas walked barefoot off the bed, towards the cloakroom. As he pulled open the door, he saw Jane leaning against the wall, lost in thought. He asked, "Do you plan on sleeping in the cloakroom tonight?"
"Can I?" Jane blurted out.
The corners of Jas Black’s mouth twitched almost imperceptibly, and he retorted, "What do you think?"
Naturally, it was...
Impossible.
Jane touched her nose tip and said, "I’m not sleepy yet. You go to sleep first. I’ll see if there’s anything else that needs tidying up. Oh, it seems I haven’t finished reading my script. I’ll go back to the living room to have a look."
After speaking, Jane, crouching down, prepared to leave the cloakroom from Jas’s side. However, as she was just about to brush against Jas’s shoulder, his hand ca down and pressed on her head.
"What are you hiding for? Do you think I’m going to eat you?" With those words, he turned around and picked her up, then walked steadily towards the bed.
Yes!
In Jane’s heart, there was a capitalized and bolded yes!
"Jas Black, let’s not tonight, okay? Please~" Jane’s small hand gently pinched the muscle on Jas’s arm without much force. It naturally didn’t hurt Jas, it was just a tickle.
Seeing Jane act like this, Jas realized the reason she had been hiding in the cloakroom and not coming out. Heh, so she was afraid of this?
Jas placed her on the bed and covered her with a quilt, then humd in agreent with her wishes as a response.
He had already planned to spare her tonight—after all, she hadn’t rested well yesterday and her state throughout the day today wasn’t very good. Knowing she had to go to the film crew the next day, Jas wasn’t going to be the kind of person who didn’t know moderation.
With Jas’s response, Jane’s heart was greatly relieved.
So most of the ti, this guy wasn’t really that annoying.
"Jas Black, you’re so nice!" Jane happily hugged Jas’s arm, closed her eyes, and as she spoke, she yawned several tis in succession.
It wasn’t that she wasn’t sleepy; she was just too absorbed in reading the script just now and didn’t feel tired. After finishing the script and relaxing, sleepiness overwheld her.
From declaring she wasn’t sleepy to falling asleep, Jane didn’t take very long—roughly three minutes was all it took.
Listening to the steady breathing of the person next to him, Jas couldn’t help but smile. Alone, he laughed softly at the now-sleeping Jane and then stretched out his arm to pull the woman—who was hugging his arm—into his arms.
Early the next morning, Jas had to return to the guard team. When he woke up, Jane was still sleeping soundly.
Jas didn’t have the heart to wake her. Instead, he set an alarm on her mobile phone, leaving her enough ti to prepare her luggage and to let her sleep as long as possible.
The day was just beginning to dawn, and Jas had already finished packing and was ready to leave. Before he left, he returned to the bedroom one more ti. Without his embrace to confine her, Jane was sleeping sowhat restlessly.
