Shirley Young’s car stopped in the airport parking lot, and then he handed the keys over to an acquaintance. The two found their respective assistants at entrance No.5 of the airport. Elizabeth King and Jane Sampson had known each other for a long ti, so even though Jane was fully equipped with a mask, hat, and sunglasses, Elizabeth recognized her at a glance.
But when she found out that the person who had co to the airport with Jane was Shirley Young, she could only be described as utterly shocked.
Elizabeth King, when she joined the company, had thought she might rely on her academic qualifications to be assigned to A-list artists, but later Rock Bell left and handed her over to Jane Sampson. At that ti, knowing that Jane was just a newcor, Elizabeth figured she wouldn’t be seeing any big brand stars any ti soon.
However, she was quite surprised to first learn of the close relationship between Jane Sampson and Jas Carter, following Jane in and out of Jas’s studio and even knowing that Jane had visited Jas Carter’s ho. Now, out of the blue, Jane told her that she had co to the airport in Shirley Young’s car, which left Elizabeth even more amazed.
As a newcor, the network of people Jane Sampson knew was beyond Elizabeth’s expectations.
"Teacher Yang," after listening to Jane’s introduction, Elizabeth quickly greeted the other person respectfully, then smiled and greeted Shirley Young’s assistant as well.
"I didn’t expect that in addition to being beautiful, you also find beautiful assistants," Shirley Young jested, complinting both Jane Sampson and Elizabeth King in one breath.
"I didn’t expect Teacher Young to be so handso, and even his assistant is just as handso," Jane Sampson winked at Shirley Young’s assistant, who turned out to be such a shy character, and he blushed deeply with her complint.
Jane Sampson was stunned for a few seconds, and couldn’t help laughing out loud.
"I forgot to tell you, he’s my cousin. He’s a bit introverted and easily shy," Shirley Young patted his cousin-cum-assistant on the shoulder, then said, "Let’s go, let’s sit inside and wait."
They had first class tickets, so there was no need to queue up and squeeze with the crowd here.
While waiting in the VIP Room, Shirley Young and Jane Sampson talked about her last drama. These past two days at Daniel Taylor’s, she had indeed been busy, releasing a three-minute trailer out of the blue, which really skyrocketed the attention rating for this drama with two trailers in rapid succession.
"I saw your acting in the trailers, so I’m really looking forward to working with you," Shirley Young said, "Director Wilson told you’re an incredibly hard worker."
Jane Sampson did not expect Director Wilson, whom she hadn’t formally t yet, to have praised her to Shirley Young, feeling a mix of surprise and embarrassnt. "Because I’m not outstanding enough, I have to work particularly hard," Jane said with a soft smile, "Actually, working with Senior Young puts quite a lot of pressure on ."
She was afraid that if her performance wasn’t good enough, she would let people down and also feared that if she didn’t perform well enough, she would drag down the entire film crew.
"You won’t. You’re already doing quite well now, and you’re improving fast," Shirley Young nodded reassuringly to Jane Sampson.
Even though this was only the second ti Shirley Young had t with Jane Sampson, he felt very comfortable with her. She was a young person willing to make an effort and to progress.
Shirley Young had entered this circle at a very young age, and over the past fifteen to twenty years, he had t countless people. So many held scripts in their hands, but they were only just going through the motions.
