Help look for a new assistant, and once you find one, help transfer Elizabeth King away. — Jas Black’s wife.
Rock Bell quickly replied to the ssage without asking anything, just responding with a simple "okay."
After reading the ssage, Jane Sampson tucked her mobile phone away with relief, and Shirley Young, walking next to her, also inexplicably let out a sigh of relief. It wasn’t that Shirley Young intended to sneak a peek at Jane Sampson on her mobile phone, but because he was much taller than Jane, and the narrow path they were walking down ant they were side by side at this ti.
Jane Sampson was sending a WhatsAPP ssage on her phone and had no way to hide it from him, and he had just been about to speak to her when, looking down, he saw Jane composing and sending a WhatsAPP ssage.
Originally, he thought Jane was too young to understand, but Shirley Young felt that he had been overthinking it.
Jane only appeared as if she didn’t understand, but that wasn’t actually the case.
Even though she always seed carefree, not taking these trifles to heart, she was well aware of everything.
Seeing Jane still looking indifferent, not showing any sign of the decision she had made a second ago, Shirley couldn’t help but feel reassured.
Jane being this way was actually good.
A person who is too easy to read, too accommodating, too lenient in setting their boundaries, is destined not to do well in this circle.
In this circle, fools are bound to struggle.
Fortunately, this rare actress wasn’t foolish, otherwise, Shirley would really have to worry that before long Jane would co to him in tears saying, "Senior Young, I’ve beco so disillusioned with this circle that I want to leave."
anwhile, Rock Bell was in a eting when he saw the ssage from Jane Sampson. He was startled for a mont and although he was puzzled, he didn’t ask further. He just thought about chatting with Jane later about Elizabeth King when he had so free ti. But since Jane had already spoken up, it ant that the assistant definitely had to be replaced.
Rock Bell took the task of finding a new assistant for Jane to heart. Jane had already co down from the mountain and joined the entire film crew, and the start-up ceremony in the village attracted quite a crowd of onlookers. After the ceremony went smoothly, Jane received her filming schedule.
"Sister Jane, your shooting schedule is so full," Elizabeth King finally ca back to Jane’s side at this ti and peered at it, remarking in a low voice.
"Because I’m rushing my schedule," Jane explained indifferently.
"Is it because of the work over in Springtown?" Elizabeth smiled, "Sister Mandy Forest just asked about your relationship with Mr. Carter! She seems to be an old friend of his, too."
Only then did Jane look up at Elizabeth, and then cast a glance over at Mandy Forest, noting Mandy was also watching her. Jane quickly averted her gaze, pretending as though she hadn’t noticed.
"What did you say?" Jane asked casually.
"How could I possibly have said anything! I understand what can and cannot be said," Elizabeth hurriedly shook her head. In fact, she had already told Mandy Forest about Jane’s cooperation with Jas Carter.
However, Elizabeth felt this wasn’t a big event; cooperation was sothing bound to be known sooner or later. It was just a matter of saying it sooner or later.
"Elizabeth, it seems like you really like Mandy Forest?" Jane put the work schedule into her purse. Normally, such a docunt would be entrusted to an assistant for safekeeping, but Jane showed no intention of giving it to Elizabeth.
