The next day’s filming went as smoothly as Jas Carter had anticipated; the weather was perfect. When the sun was setting, its beauty resembled an oil painting. The photographer from Jas Carter’s Studio showed Jane Sampson the playback, and even Jane couldn’t help but gasp in admiration repeatedly.
"Just now, I took a few photos of Miss Sampton, and they turned out very beautiful. Once they are post-processed, I’ll have Mr. Carter send them to you," the photographer said. This was the second ti he worked with Jane Sampson. Her professionalism made his job much easier, so much so that he had the ti to capture a few candid shots of her during the filming.
"Sure, thank you so much, that’s very kind of you!" Jane expressed her gratitude, then lowered her head to continue reviewing the playback shown by the photographer until she was brought back to her senses by the sound of her ringing mobile phone that Jas Carter was holding.
"Take the call first. After the call, remove your makeup, and we’ll join John Young. He has already arrived at the airport," Jas Carter said gently, "Your agent should have told you, right? The next ti we et will be at the premiere of John Young’s movie."
Sister Tin had told her, and Jane nodded excitedly. The caller happened to be the very person she had ntioned just now, Rock Bell.
Jane answered the call as she made her way to the restroom.
"Have you finished your work in Springtown? Your new assistant has been found, her na is Coco Edwards. When you co back tomorrow, take a mont to et her. If you think there’s no problem, let her join you and go directly to the film crew the day after. I’ll call Elizabeth King later and tell her to fly back to the company alone; we’ll arrange other work for her there."
"I won’t have ti to go to the company in the next couple of days, Sister Tin, could you take a look for ? If you think Coco is alright, then let her wait for at the airport tomorrow morning so we can enter the filming set together. If it’s too much of a rush, then there’s no need to hurry. Anyway, I’ll be on set recently and there’s not much need for an assistant, so we can continue searching slowly." Jane wasn’t in a rush to get an assistant at all.
She had been spending all her ti in the village lately and truly didn’t have a need for an assistant to run errands for her, unlike so other actors who always sent their assistants to the city district or county town to shop for various things.
"Alright, then I’ll have another look for you," Rock Bell agreed, "You’ve had a lot of work recently; make sure you take good care of yourself and don’t wear yourself out."
"Don’t worry, Sister Tin, I’m actually pretty healthy," Jane said cheerily, "Especially since I’ve started filming out here, I feel like I’ve even been getting so exercise."
"That’s good. Let tell you about your upcoming work arrangents," Rock Bell opened the notebook on hand and continued, "After finishing the work in Springtown, you’ll be back on set filming for 12 more days. After leaving the set, you’ll only have two days of rest before starting work on ’I’m Not a Celebrity.’ The filming for the first period will last one week."
Rock Bell paused, her voice laced with laughter, "After that shooting wraps up, you have an endorsent ad for JK brand, with you, Mandy Forest, and Lotus each endorsing JK’s offline costics, clothing, and bags, respectively. This is a new endorsent strategy set by JK for the year. You’ll be handling the JK costics. Once the endorsent ad is over, you’ll head to Smytheton to attend the premiere of John Young’s movie as an honored guest and perform the the song with Jas Carter on the scene."
"An endorsent for JK? How did that co about all of a sudden?" Jane was genuinely surprised; she was a newcor, and yet she managed to secure the role of a spokesperson for JK’s costics for the new year?
