Jas Black could snatch it away once, and there would be a second ti, what exactly was she feeling smug about?
Having retrieved it, she should have kept it low and hidden it stealthily, what exactly was she provoking?
Just when Jane Sampson was fully on guard against Jas Black lunging to snatch her mobile phone, she saw him standing a step away from her, looking down at her with an advantage in height, his hands suddenly moved but not to do anything, instead leisurely slipping into his pocket.
Then she heard him hmm a sound, nodding his head in agreent.
Agree?
He actually agreed?
Jane Sampson even doubted whether the Jas Black standing in front of her was real or not, when had he beco so easy to talk to?
He actually smiled and agreed, yes, he really did smile.
Although his smile wasn’t obvious, Jane Sampson noticed that the corner of Jas Black’s mouth really did curl up when he nodded.
Seeing Jane Sampson’s shocked expression, Jas Black didn’t plan on explaining. She looked quite cute, as if she couldn’t believe she was suddenly hit by a huge pie.
Jas Black sat back at his desk and picked up the book he had been reading before. At this ti, Jane Sampson was still standing in the sa spot, only her head followed his footsteps in a circle, her gaze constantly following his movents.
In Jas Black’s mind, an image of an animal surfaced to describe the present Jane Sampson.
Um, a silly goose.
"Jane Sampson," Jas Black suddenly spoke up, calling her na. The person behind him then moved and sat back on the bed, casually responding with a sound to acknowledge him.
"Eat less candy," Jas Black reminded her.
Jane Sampson’s eyes instantly turned back towards Jas Black, filled with emotions that even he couldn’t describe.
"You bought the candy back, which ans you’ve tacitly allowed to eat it," Jane Sampson muttered, "If you don’t want to eat it, then don’t buy it. But buying it and not letting soone eat it, just to make their mouth water, that’s not right."
This was the first ti that Jas Black realized Jane Sampson could be so talkative.
"Jane Sampson," Jas Black, including her na and surna, called out to interrupt her muttering, "Repeat exactly what I said just now."
"Eat less candy," Jane Sampson responded quickly, and after responding, she imdiately realized sothing.
He said to eat less candy, not that she wasn’t allowed to eat candy!
His words just now finally didn’t start with the word ’not allowed’!
"So, does that an I can eat?" Jane Sampson imdiately dragged out the pack of Alps candy she had hidden behind Jas’s book, then scurried to Jas Black’s side and offered him one, "Jas Black, you’re so nice!"
Jane Sampson was definitely the first person to offer him candy since Jas Black could rember, and he even took it, not unwrapping it but squeezing it in his hand.
The feel of it certainly wasn’t as good as her face.
Not even close.
As he recalled Jane Sampson praising him with that ’you’re so nice,’ Jas Black suddenly laughed softly to himself and asked, "So, does this an you’ve given up on the idea of divorce?"
The smile on Jane Sampson’s face froze, and she laughed awkwardly.
How could it be?
She was certain that Jas Black would one day be the first to get tired of her true nature and propose a divorce.
Seeing Jane Sampson fake a smile again, Jas Black knew the answer. He didn’t press further, his eyes lingered on the mobile phone screen in her hand for a second, thought for a mont, then asked, "Did grandfather help you with the phone?"
