The terms of address between the two had always been first and last nas.
Jane Sampson’s unusual behavior imdiately worried Jas Black; he feared she might have encountered an accident, such as a kidnapping or a robbery?
"Where exactly are you in the shopping mall?" Jas Black asked, trying to keep his voice steady.
After hearing the na of the storefront Jane ntioned, Jas Black was both amused and annoyed. He guessed why Jane would suddenly call him "husband" in such an unusual manner and also understood why he was swiftly removed from her mobile phone blacklist.
The shopping mall Jane ntioned was so distance from the residential community; it was located in Capital Province’s Wealthy District, where it was basically impossible to hail a taxi outdoors. As he wondered how Jane got there, Jas Black turned around to get his car.
About 15 minutes later, Jas Black arrived at the shopping mall Jane had ntioned. After parking his car, he asked for the location of the cold drink store Jane had talked about, and then he walked over to it.
Upon pushing the door open and entering the shop, Jas Black imdiately spotted a person and a dog—one standing and the other lying down—in a particularly conspicuous part of the store.
"Jane Sampson," Jas Black called out her na at the doorway.
"Jas Black!" Jane swore to herself that, in this life or the last, she had never harbored such complex feelings towards Jas Black.
She had been staring at the door, eagerly anticipating Jas Black’s arrival. So when Jas Black’s figure appeared, she noticed right away.
Hearing Jas Black call her na in his deep voice, at that mont, Jane felt an overwhelming ...
Hate and love.
Jane let go of Great General’s dog leash and ran towards Jas Black. She affectionately wrapped her arms around his, and then deliberately yelled out loudly, "Husband, why did it take you so long? You’re so slow!"
Jas Black looked down at Jane, his eyebrows crinkling in a frown. Was her calling him "husband" ingratiating or a mont of self-reflection?
Jane didn’t care how Jas felt; she was determined to drag him to the cashier’s counter. Then she pushed him forward, hiding behind him, and whispered softly, "Pay the bill!"
After speaking, Jane had a mont of pause, then tugged at Jas’s sleeve and asked, "Did you bring your wallet?"
"I did," Jas moved to the side and asked, "But did I ever agree to co here and pay your bill?"
Jane was dumbfounded; she had not expected Jas to reply to her like that.
"Mr. Black ..." The cashier seed taken aback for a mont and was just about to speak when Jane interrupted him.
"Jas Black, if you’re not here to help pay, then why did you co? Don’t tell with your intelligence, you can’t guess why I called you here!" Jane bit her lip in anger, her beautiful eyes glaring at Jas Black, twin flas of fury burning in them.
Jas chuckled, then Jane heard him say infuriatingly, "Just here to watch the fun."
What!!
Here to watch the fun?
Watch the fun?
"Jas Black!" Jane was livid, stomping her foot and shivering with rage. "Jas Black! I want a divorce! Imdiate divorce! We’ll do it this afternoon! No discussion!"
Jane felt that in a past life, she must have been a tomb raider who accidentally disturbed Jas Black’s resting place. That would explain why, in his previous life and now, he was so vindictive towards her!
In their residential community, seizing the opportunity, Jane ran with Great General as if they were people who had just been released from jail, vigorously pursuing freedom.
After she and Great General got into the car, she went straight to the cold drink store. She took the ice creams, put one on the ground for Great General and then bent down to take a bite of her own.
