"If you won’t let ask, fine! Humph!" Jane Sampson muttered, "You must really not want to go. I bet as soon as I’m on the airplane, you’ll be crying secretly inside the car."
Even for soone as emotionally reserved as Jas Black, he was thoroughly amused by her words.
He reached out to put her mask back on, covering her slightly swollen lips, and chuckled to himself. So this was the flavor of the lipstick he’d given her.
"Rember, you’re about to get your period, no cold drinks, no fried foods, and if you really crave sothing, just have a lollipop." Jas Black magically produced two lollipops from his pocket for Jane Sampson, "Don’t eat too many."
They were Alps lollipops. Jane’s eyes lit up, and, fearing Jas would take them back, she quickly snatched them and tossed them into her bag. After closing her purse securely, she patted it.
"Did you hear that?" Jas Black’s voice lifted slightly.
"I heard you! I heard you!" Jane Sampson nodded repeatedly, "Three not allowed!"
Annoying or not? Annoying or not?
Hmph! Even if she sneaked so, he definitely wouldn’t find out!
Jane Sampson was happily thinking to herself that once she was in City S, with mountains high and the emperor far away, daddy Black wouldn’t be able to control her there!
"Don’t think I don’t know what you’re plotting," Jas Black flicked Jane Sampson’s forehead gently, then opened the car door and carried her straight down from the car.
Because it was only for a few days, Jane’s suitcase wasn’t large. He opened the trunk, took out her suitcase, and then walked out of the underground parking lot, holding Jane’s hand.
Jane let Jas lead her with one hand while swinging her carry-on with the other, and with a mischievous smirk, she mumbled, "When I’m not ho, you can’t miss too much, and even if you do, no crying. Crying won’t help. Even if you cry your eyes out, I won’t co back, so it’s no use even if you cry yourself to death."
The corner of Jas Black’s mouth twitched imperceptibly. Not even the mask could hide her babble.
He couldn’t fathom where she got the bizarre idea that he would miss her.
A woman who’s always provoking annoyance, what’s there to miss? Thinking about how she could further annoy him, or even infuriate him to death?
By the airport entrance, there were already many people. Jane Sampson, worried about being recognized even with a mask in a crowd, didn’t let Jas continue to accompany her inside.
"I’m leaving," Jane Sampson turned and told Jas, then tugged at her hand held by his.
Jas Black’s expression wasn’t too pleased, he grunted but didn’t imdiately let go. He only slowly released her hand when Jane could no longer pull away and looked up at him again.
Then he watched as his young wife happily swung her bag, bouncing forward with a restrained gait.
One glance and any sighted person would know that this girl was radiating happiness from every hair strand, a mood clearly indicating sheer joy.
Watching Jane Sampson move farther away, Jas turned to look at the other suitcase he was holding, then gazed forward again, and saw the previously bouncy, excited person suddenly stop, look down, scratch her head, turn a circle, and look back at him.
Finally, Jas couldn’t help but laugh softly to himself, "Silly daughter-in-law."
The silly daughter-in-law over there paused for a second, then, realizing sothing, bolted back towards him.
